Wet Nose Wednesday
It’s a short week for most of us, but with Hurricane Dorian hitting the Eastern boarder many animal shelters are being pushed to the limit when it comes to the capacity of animals they can take. This may be the time to volunteer , donate, or just go down to the Humane Educational Society and walk dogs and pet cats to socialize. Check with your local shelter on ways you can help, especially with our neighboring animals being driven in by Hurricane Dorian. Let’s meet this weeks pets from heschatt.org
Daisy is a friendly gal that gets excited for attention when she sees you. She enjoys sitting by your side for petting and belly rubs. She is social sometimes with other dogs but most likely needs to be the only pet in the home. As an almost-senior dog citizen at 6.5 years old, she feels she has earned the right to be picky about who she wants to hang out with. Rumor has it she’s also very possibly housebroken. Daisy has an adorable grin and the cutest cheerful butt wiggle whenever she is happy to see you. She’s a sweetheart who is sure to make you smile!
Quinny is a cute little kitten who is looking for a forever home. Quinny is a wee bit shy around new people and in new situations, so it will take a little bit for her to warm up to you when you first meet her. She’s totally worth being patient for, though. She is sweet and loving once she knows you. Since she’s only 4.5 months old, she also has a playful, quirky side. She would probably really enjoy having other feline pals to play with in her new home. Come give her this sweet, shy girl the loving home she deserves.
