Whos says you have to wait to enjoy wonderful plants. Holcomb Garden Centers have a good selection of house plants ready to brighten your home. These easy to care for plants not only look great, but they are busy cleaning the air in your home 24 hours a day. Choose a plant and choose a planter for the perfect match for your indoor area.
Stop Grubs for up to 15 Years!

Milky Spore, It is responsible for a disease (commonly called milky spore) of the white grubs of Japanese beetles.

The adult Japanese beetles pupate in the July time-frame (in the Northeast United States) and feed on flowers and leaves of shrubs and garden plants. During this adult stage the beetles also mate and the females lay eggs in the soil in late July - early August. The eggs hatch soon afterwards and in this larval or grub stage, they feed on the roots of grass and other plants.

Milky Spore in the soil is not harmful to beneficial insects, birds, bees, pets or man; and Milky Spore, like other bacteria, is highly survivable in cold and drought conditions.

Valentine Heart rose petals
Love is in the air and no other flower represents love like the rose! History is full of references to the beautiful rose and it's intoxicating fragrance. Cleopatra had her living quarters filled with the petals of roses so that when Marc Antony met her, he would long remember her for such opulence and be reminded of her every time he smelt a rose. Her scheme worked for him. Such is the power of roses. The world's oldest living rose bush is thought to be 1000 years old. Today, it continues to bloom on the wall of the Hildesheim Cathedral in Germany. You can share in this history of the rose by planting your own easy to grow rose garden and Holcombs can help...
Happy Valentine's Day,
