IT’S DERBY TIME IN CHATTANOOGA! Your favorite ladies on 8 wheels will be taking on Vette City Roller Derby in a highly anticipated rematch. Doors open at 6pm, the bout starts at 7pm at the Convention Center . Get there early to grab a spot in the suicide seats! (ages 18+). Tennessee AquariumSpring break turns into a wild adventure at the Tennessee Aquarium when kids get a chance to get closer to some of the Aquarium’s most amazing animals and discover what it’s like to care for them. Explore behind the scenes, meet penguin experts, feed animals, get up close to baby seahorses and jellies or learn what it takes to care for giant freshwater fish and toothy sharks.Dates available: March 17 – April 20, 2014 from 10:30 to 4 pm. (Aquarium hours: Last admission 6 pm.  Open daily 10 am – 7:30 pm.)  Keeper Kids activities are for children ages 6 and up. Kids may choose two of the 16 different activities offered throughout the day. Each program lasts approximately 15 to 20 minutes. The Chattanooga River Market boasts the unique talents of our local artists, offering handmade arts & crafts along the beautiful Tennessee river.  Tourists and locals enjoy the wide selection of jewelry, photography, apparel,  woodworks and so much more. Special engagements are available each week, such as free yoga classes by Chattanooga Yoga Community at 10 am and live performances by local musicians. Held Saturdays, March 22-Oct. 4th, from 10am-5 pm on the Tennessee Aquarium Plaza.

.“The Easter Bunny will arrive at Hamilton Place and be available for visits and photographs with children March 29 through April 19,” said Hamilton Place General Manager, Dan Wolfe.  “Capturing a photo with your child and the Easter Bunny will be a priceless keepsake.”The Easter Bunny will be available Monday – Saturday from 10 am – 9 pm; Sundays, Noon – 6 pm and will be located on the lower level of the mall near Belk.  There is no charge to visit the Easter Bunny; however, visitors may purchase a photo package.The Bunny Experience can continue after the visit to the mall through the website which allows customers to download their digital Easter photo, share their photos via social media and create photo projects with  Customers will also receive a $10 to $20 Shutterfly gift card with any of the five photo packages.
