Chattanooga, TN – The Pulse:

About 55% of Americans are ditching New Year’s resolutions this year, with millennials in particular being done with the tradition.

The survey of 2,000 adults also found that 52% of respondents gave up on their goals by March. Only 5% stuck with their resolutions for the entire year.

Why do people give up? 40% feel too pressured, 34% feel that they don’t create lasting change, and 34% say resolutions feel like a chore.

The Almond Breeze survey also found that 52% plan on setting goals in 2024, but respondents found New Year’s resolutions unrealistic.
