In 2003, my husband, two boys and I moved from the mountains of Boulder,Co to the Scenic City. I’ve long been involved in the arts and media in one form or another and I’ve experienced different job fields in my life. After volunteering in the local art community, on WTCI-PBS and doing some different duties including script supervisor on movie sets, I had the chance to start my radio career in 2010. I found my voice first as a traffic reporter then transitioned into the newsroom for a period of time. Moving back into radio, I was truly in my comfort zone. I’ve had the opportunity to hold several positions including morning show co-host, afternoon show host, an assistant program director and, of course, always trying to sneak in a traffic report when I can. It’s in my blood now.

After thinking I retired in 2021, I’m back behind the mic part-time. I love filling in for my colleagues or grabbing a weekend shift at Sunny 92.3!

An adventurous spirit by nature, I love to get outside and bike, run, paddleboard or go camping. I still enjoy volunteering in the arts and recently completed the docent training program at The Hunter Museum in Chattanooga. This has inspired me to start creating by learning how to throw pottery and bringing out my paints once again.
