On Saturday (November 19th), Michael J. Fox was honored with the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award at the 13th Governors Awards in Los Angeles for his advocacy work with Parkinson's Disease. The Back to the Future actor established the Michael J. Fox Foundation in 2000, which seeks to find a cure for Parkinson's. He was diagnosed with the disease himself in 1991.

Woody Harrelson presented the award to Fox. "This guy was a master class in comedy," he said. "He turned a chilling diagnosis into a courageous mission. Michael J. Fox never asked for the role of Parkinson's advocate, but it is his best performance."

During an emotional acceptance speech, Fox called Parkinson's the "gift that keeps on taking." The Family Ties actor shared that "the hardest part was grappling with the certainty of the diagnosis and the uncertainty of the situation."

Fox also thanked his wife, Tracy Pollan, for her support over the years. "Tracy made it clear she was with me for the duration," he said. Inviting his wife to the podium, he shared, "I cannot believe I have been standing here for this long, it's a miracle." He also asked her to carry the award for him.

"I cannot walk and carry this thing," he commented. "But I ask Tracy to once again carry the weight."

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever had no trouble holding on to the number one spot at the domestic box office during its second weekend, bringing in $67.3 million. Deadline reports this is slightly higher than Black Adam's opening at $67 million.

On Saturday (November 19th), Lupita Nyong'o, who plays Nakia in the film, shared footage of her underwater training for the role, which included swimming with dumbbells. His cause of death has not yet been revealed, but some outlets are reporting that it was suicide. Frank played the Green Ranger Tommy Oliver in the hit 1990s show, and he was an "avid mixed martial artist."

"Tom Cruise keeps on ruining our filming by landing his helicopter right outside where we're shooting," she said. According to The New York Post, the Top Gun: Maverick star has his own pilot license and has reportedly flown his helicopter over the Call the Midwife set in Surrey, England.

Whitney Henriquez says that her "faith in humanity has been called into question" since her sister Amber Heard lost to Johnny Depp in court this summer.

She wrote on Instagram, "Not only did it highlight some pretty f***ing major flaws in the judicial system, it also showed just how deeply misogynistic this world is and how harassment of anyone who speaks out or has a differing opinion is just simply accepted."

While having bloodwork done for the show's fifth episode, the Marvel star discovered he had two copies of the APOE4 gene - something that can increase your odds of developing Alzheimer's disease eight- to twelvefold, according to the Mayo Clinic.

He told Vanity Fair, "Most of us, we like to avoid speaking about death in the hope that we'll somehow avoid it. We all have this belief that we'll figure it out. Then to all of a sudden be told some big indicators are actually pointing to this as the route which is going to happen, the reality of it sinks in."

He explained that he kept it in the show as "a motivator to take better care of themselves and to understand that there are steps you can take."

Although the revalation will appear in the series, the Furiosa star hasn't talked to his kids about it yet.

He explained, "I don't think they could have grasped the concept or have the understanding, so no. It's not like I've been handed my resignation and this is what it is — and it's up in a few months. It's not quite that situation, thankfully. One day I'm sure I'll bring it up. Brendan Fraser will not appear at the Golden Globes if he is nominated for The Whale.

The actor told GQ that he will skip the ceremony due to his accusation that Philip Berk, former president and member of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association groped him at a 2003 luncheon at the Beverly Hills Hotel.

He said, "I have more history with the Hollywood Foreign Press Association than I have respect for the Hollywood Foreign Press Association. No, I will not participate… It's because of the history that I have with them. And my mother didn't raise a hypocrite. You can call me a lot of things, but not that."

Lily-Rose Depp told Elle Magazine that she hasn't remarked on her father, Johnny Depp's recent legal battles because she refuses to be defined by the men in her life.

She told the outlet, "When it's something that's so private and so personal that all of a sudden becomes not so personal … I feel really entitled to my secret garden of thought. also think that I'm not here to answer for anybody, and I feel like for a lot of my career, people have really wanted to define me by the men in my life, whether that's my family members or my boyfriends, whatever."

An open letter signed by more than 140 individuals and women's rights organizations condemns the public criticism of Amber Heard following her highly publicized court case against Johnny Depp.

The letter, which was signed by activist Gloria Steinem and actress Constance Wu, among others, read, "The vilification of Ms. Heard and ongoing online harassment of her and those who have voiced support for her have been unprecedented in both vitriol and scale."

It continued, "Much of this harassment was fueled by disinformation, misogyny, biphobia, and a monetized social media environment where a woman's allegations of domestic violence and sexual assault were mocked for entertainment. The same disinformation and victim-blaming tropes are now being used against others who have alleged abuse."

The author concluded, "We condemn the public shaming of Amber Heard and join in support of her. We support the ability of all to report intimate partner and sexual violence free of harassment and intimidation."

Critics of the letter argue that it ignores the idea that Depp was a domestic violence victim, with one person tweeting, "Gloria Steinem now supports a Self Confessed Abuser who committed perjury on 3 continents soley because she's a woman."

COLIN FARRELL TO RECIEVE DESERT PALM ACHIEVEMENT AWARD: Variety reports that Colin Farrell will receive the Desert Palm Achievement Award for his performance in The Banshees of Inisherin at the Palm Springs International Film Awards. The Palm Springs International Film Awards will take place in person on Jan. 5th, 2023 at the Palm Springs Convention Center, with the festival running through Jan. 16th, 2023.

Candace Cameron Bure told The Wall Street Journal why she left Hallmark for Great American Family after more than a decade—and stars like Jojo Siwa and Hilarie Burton Morgan are speaking out against her reasoning.

Bure, who is now Great American Family's chief creative officer, said the network will not feature LGBTQ+ storylines but rather "will keep traditional marriage at the core." This comes as Hallmark prepares to release The Holiday Sitter in December, its first holiday movie centered on a same-sex couple.

Bure told The Wall Street Journal that she joined Great American Family because she "knew that the people behind Great American Family were Christians that love the Lord and wanted to promote faith programming and good family entertainment."

Morgan took to Twitter on Monday (November 14th) to slam Bure's remarks. "Bigot. I don't remember Jesus liking hypocrites like Candy," the One Tree Hill actress wrote. "But sure. Make your money, honey. You ride that prejudice wave all the way to the bank."

Siwa, who came out as queer in 2021 and was in a public disagreement with Bure earlier this year, took to Instagram to express her disbelief. "honestly, I can't believe after everything that went down just a few months ago, that she would not only create a movie with intention of excluding LGBTQIA+, but then also talk about it in the press. This is rude and hurtful to a whole community of people," Siwa wrote.

Jodie Sweetin, Bure's onscreen sister from the show Full House, commented on Siwa's post, "You know I love you," adding two red heart emojis.

Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary earlier this year by renewing their vows in Italy. The 7th Heaven star shared the details with Today on Tuesday (November 15th).

"It was very intimate, it was very small," she said. "A couple of our friends, and we literally barely put this thing together. We almost canceled it. We thought, ‘Oh, is this silly? She is seeking $2 million in damages.

RACHEL TRUE TO REPRISE ROLE IN ‘HALF BAKED' SEQUEL: According to Deadline, Half Baked 2 has finished production in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, with Rachel True reprising her role as Mary Jane in the sequel. The cast also includes Dexter Darden, Moses Storm, Ramona Young, Ash Santos, Joel Courtney, and David Koechner.

The film, which stars Tatum and Salma Hayek, is set to arrive in theaters on Feb. 10th, 2023.

Jennifer Aniston is grieving the loss of her father, John Aniston, who passed away on Friday (November 11th) at the age of 89. The Friends actress took to Instagram on Monday (November 14th) to share the news.

"Sweet papa… John Anthony Aniston," she wrote. " You were one of the most beautiful humans I ever knew. I am so grateful that you went soaring into the heavens in peace - and without pain. And on 11/11 no less! You always had perfect timing. That number will forever hold an even greater meaning for me now."

The Break-Up actress added, "I'll love you till the end of time … Don't forget to visit."

In June of this year, Jennifer honored her father at the Daytime Emmy Awards as he won the Lifetime Achievement Award. John was most known for his role as Victor Kiriakis on the soap opera Days of Our Lives.

At the time, Aniston said, "For over 30 years, his dedication to that show has gained him respect and admiration of his fellow actors, deep friendships and thrilled millions of fans around the world. His career is literally the definition of lifetime achievement."
