Alec Baldwin posted a photo of the late cinematographer Halyna Hutchins to Instagram on Friday (October 21st), marking the one-year anniversary of her death. Many Instagram users slammed Baldwin for the post, since he was the one holding the gun that killed Hutchins on the set of Rust in 2021.

"One year ago today…," Baldwin captioned a photo of Hutchins behind a camera.

One user commented, "This feels really inappropriate since you're the one who shot and killed her…"

Another called the post "tone-deaf," while one person wrote, "Inappropriate. This could be very misunderstood."

Kim Kardashian celebrated her 42nd birthday with friends and family over the weekend, though things didn't go according to plan. TMZ reports that on Saturday (October 22nd), The Kardashians star was on her way to Las Vegas to see Usher in concert, when her sister Kylie Jenner's private plane was forced to turn around due to strong winds.

SACHEEN LITTLEFEATHER'S SISTERS SAY SHE WASN'T NATIVE AMERICAN: Three weeks after Sacheen Littlefeather, the actress and activist who declined Marlon Brando's Oscar on his behalf in 1973, passed away, a column was published in the San Francisco Chronicle that questioned her Native American heritage. According to the author, Jacqueline Keeler, Littlefeather's sisters say her Native American identity is a "lie." One of her sisters, Trudy Orlandi, told Keeler, "My father was who he was. His family came from Mexico. And my dad was born in Oxnard." However, Variety reports that other Native American writers and activists are denouncing Keeler for having a longstanding "vendetta" against "Pretendians." While Wilde used her Instagram Story to post a vinaigrette recipe from Heartburn, Hazell underlined a different set of text from the Nora Ephron book.

The Los Angeles rape trial of Harvey Weinstein will begin Monday (October 24th).

The disgraced Miramax producer faces four counts of rape, four counts of forcible oral copulation, one count of sexual penetration by use of force, plus one count of sexual battery by restraint and sexual battery in incidents involving five women in L.A. County over a nine-year period.

According to Deadline, the trial is expected to last until the end of the year.

A New York jury sided in favor of Kevin Spacey in the $40 million federal civil case brought by Anthony Rapp.

The Associated Press reports that jurors deliberated for a little more than an hour before finding that the House of Cards actor did not sexually abuse Rapp in 1986.

Following the verdict, Spacey's attorney Jennifer Kelly said, "We're very grateful to the jury for seeing through these false allegations."

She added that he is "going to be proven that he's innocent of anything he's been accused of," referencing other sexual misconduct claims against the actor, including criminal charges in England.

Rapp wrote in a statement on Twitter, "Bringing this lawsuit was always about shining a light, as part of the larger movement to stand up against all forms of sexual violence.

"I pledge to keep on advocating for efforts to ensure that we can live and work in a world that is free from sexual violence of any kind. I sincerely hope that survivors continue to tell their stories and fight for accountability."

The film publicist suing screenwriter-director Paul Haggis for sexual assault took the stand in court Thursday (October 20th).

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Haleigh Breest told the jury that the Crash director "became aggressive very quickly" after they arrived at his SoHo, Manhattan apartment on January 31st, 2013.

Breest said he forced her to perform oral sex and made a series of unwanted sexual moves that culminated in rape. She said on the stand, "I was like a trapped animal. There was nothing for me to do."

Haggis maintains the 2013 encounter was consensual, and his lawyer has argued that Breest called it rape because she's out for money

GEENA DAVIS SHOT DOWN JACK NICHOLSON BY USING DUSTIN HOFFMAN'S ADVICE: Geena Davis said she shot down Jack Nicholson by using advice she'd learned from her Tootsie co-star Dustin Hoffman. The 66-year-old Oscar winner told The New Yorker Thursday (October 10th) that Hoffman once told her to ward off men in the business by saying, "Well, you're very attractive. GARRETT DILLAHUNT TO RECUR ON 'DEAD TO ME': Deadline reports that Garrett Dillahunt has joined the third and final season of Dead To Me as a recurring guest star. The Netflix comedy series will stream November 17th.

Anna Faris claims late director Ivan Reitman slapped her on the butt while making the 2006 film, My Super Ex-Girlfriend.

The actress told Lena Dunham on Wednesday's (October 19th) episode of her Unqualified podcast, "One of my hardest film experiences was with Ivan Reitman. I mean, the idea of attempting to make a comedy under this, like, reign of terror, he was a yeller. He would bring down somebody every day…and my first day, it was me."

The Mom star first spoke out about the incident in 2017 but did not name Reitman.

She explained on a previous episode of her podcast, "I was doing a scene where I was on a ladder and I was supposed to be taking books off a shelf and he slapped my ass in front of the crew so hard, and all I could do was giggle."

She continued at the time, "I remember looking around and I remember seeing the crew members being like, ‘Wait, what are you going to do about that? That seemed weird.' And that's how I dismissed it. I was like, ‘Well, this isn't a thing. Like, it's not that big of a deal. Buck up, Faris. Like, just giggle.'"

One of the film's producers, Gavin Polone, told Deadline Wednesday (October 19th), "I never saw that incident, or heard about it, but I would not have any reason to dispute Anna's account, either. If Anna says it happened, I believe her. If it had happened in front of me, I certainly would have confronted Ivan about it. I'm sad to think Anna was demeaned in that way."

Matthew Perry opens up about his brush with death amid a serious opioid and alcohol addiction in is new memoir Friends, Lovers and the Big Terrible Thing.

He told the People that when his colon burst from opiod overuse in 2018, doctors told his family that he only had a two percent chance to live. The Friends star explained, "I was put on a thing called an ECMO machine, which does all the breathing for your heart and lungs. And that's called a Hail Mary. No one survives that."

Perry admitted that his therapist was able to inspire him to stay off drugs by reminding him that if he ever took Oxycontin again, he'd likely have to use a colostomy bag for the rest of his life.

The actor was already struggling with alcohol addiction when he was cast on the Friends at the age of 24. He recalled that he was only sober for Season 9 adding, "And guess which season I got nominated for best actor? I was like, ‘That should tell me something.'"

Although he tried to hide his struggles, his cast mates were aware "and they were patient." Perry said, ‘It's like penguins. Penguins in nature, when one is sick, or when one is very injured, the other penguins surround it and prop it up. They walk around it until that penguin can walk on its own. That's kind of what the cast did for me."

While Perry prefers not to disclose how long he's been sober, he says he still counts each day.

Is Olivia Wilde's special salad dressing recipe really Nora Ephron's?

The Don't Worry Darling director appeared to lean into her ex-nanny's story by providing an excerpt from Ephron's autobiography, Heartburn on her Instagram Stories Tuesday (October 18th).

According to the text, the dressing is made by combining "2 tablespoons of Grey Poupon mustard with 2 tablespoons of good red wine vinegar. While whisking with a fork, you add 6 tablespoons of olive oil until the vinaigrette is creamy."

Ephron continued, "Word is, it's good for greens like arugula, watercress and endive."

Wilde and Jason Sudekis' former nanny recently told the Daily Mail that the Ted Lasso star threw himself under the back of Wilde's car because he was distraught over her preparing a salad with her "special dressing" for Harry Styles.

Following the release of the Daily Mail interview on Monday (October 17th) the estranged couple released a joint statement denying the nanny's claims, calling them "false and scurrilous."

CHRIS D'ELIA'S ACCUSER DENIED RESTRAINING ORDER: Chris D'Elia's accuser was denied a permanent restraining order against the comedian in court on Wednesday (October 19th). Caroline Schmitz was originally granted a temporary restraining order against D'Elia in May, after claiming that the former Whitney star was threatening to post intimate videos he recorded of her online. D'Elia claimed from the beginning that it was Schmitz wo had threatened him and his family through messages on social media. 'SEX LIVES OF COLLEGE GIRLS' RETURNS ON NOVEMBER 17TH: HBO Max announced Wednesday (October 19th) Season 2 of the Sex Lives of College Girls debuts Thursday, November 17th with two episodes. The ten-episode season continues with two new episodes weekly leading up to the season finale on December 15th.

MEGHAN MARKLE ANY ACTRESS WHO PLAYS HER FINDS 'THE SOFTNESS:' Meghan Markle has instructions for any actresses that might play her on screen. The Duchess of Sussex told Variety, "I hope that in preparing for the role, she finds the softness, and the playfulness and the laughter. The silliness. I just hope she finds the dimensions. Also, she can call me!"

Kevin Spacey took the stand on Monday (October 17th) in his $40 million sexual assault trial, brought forth by Rent actor Anthony Rapp. In addition to denying Rapp's allegations that Spacey tried to seduce him when he was just 14, Spacey also said his initial apology to Rapp was a mistake.

When Rapp came forward with his allegations in a 2017 BuzzFeed article, Spacey claimed his publicists suggested he apologize. "I was being encouraged to apologize, and I've learned a lesson," he said, "which is, never apologize for something you didn't do."

At the time, the House of Cards actor wrote in a statement that he didn't remember the alleged encounter with Rapp. "But if I did behave then as he describes, I owe him the sincerest apology for what would have been deeply inappropriate drunken behavior," he wrote.

Rapp testified last week that the incident with Spacey was "the single most traumatic event" in his life.

James Corden is now allowed back at the NYC restaurant Balthazar, after The Late Late Show host "apologized profusely" to the restaurant's owner, Keith McNally. On Monday (October 17th), McNally wrote on Instagram that Corden is "the most abusive customer to my Balthazar servers since the restaurant opened 25 years ago."

According to McNally, Corden was especially "nasty" to his staff when he found hair in his food and "a little bit of egg white mixed with the egg yolk" in his wife's egg yolk omelet. Regarding the hair, McNally wrote, "Although this is diabolical, it happens Very occasionally in all restaurants."

Upon finding the hair, Corden reportedly said, "Get us another round of drinks this second. And also take care of all of our drinks so far. This way I write any nasty reviews in yelp or anything like that." ' He also allegedly screamed at the server about the omelet: "You can't do your job! You can't do your job! Maybe I should go into the kitchen and cook the omelette myself!"

"I don't often 86 a customer, to today I 86'd Corden," McNally wrote in his post. In a follow-up post, the restaurant owner said he's forgiven Corden after he called him and "apologized profusely."

On Tuesday's (October 18th) episode of the Archetypes podcast, Meghan Markle spoke with Paris Hilton about the stereotype of "the bimbo," opening up about her time on the game show Deal or No Deal.

The Duchess of Sussex appeared as a briefcase model on the second season of the show, an experience that she is "grateful" for. However, Markle said that while she was on set, she would look back on her college internship at the U.S. Embassy in Argentina, where she was "valued specifically for my brain." NOVAK: On Monday (October 17th), Mindy Kaling shared photos from the Academy Museum Gala over the weekend, including a selfie with her The Office costar B.J. Novak. Romance rumors have surrounded the pair for some time now. "YOU KNOW EXACTLY WHAT YOU'RE DOING WITH THAT LAST PIC," one fan wrote. Another commented, "Ryan and Kelly for life," referring to their characters on the show. One Instagram user begged them to make it official. KELLY RIPA THANKS KATHIE LEE GIFFORD FOR SAYING SHE WON'T READ HER BOOK: Kelly Ripa isn't letting a little criticism get her down. The talk show host appeared on the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast recently and commented on Kathie Lee Gifford saying she wouldn't read her new book, Live Wire: Long-Winded Short Stories, due to what Ripa wrote about Regis Philbin. "It's really hard to sell a book, right? And this is like, week three of the book, right? And I mean, honestly, I'm not gonna lie, I was not reading any headlines anywhere. And suddenly all of these headlines pop up and there's all of this attention on my book," Ripa said. "So I am a person that tends to take a negative and turn it into a positive. And so my ultimate comment is, thank you." The Live with Kelly and Ryan host added, "It's like really hard to get attention on a book that's been out for a couple of weeks and now it's week two, second week on The New York Times Best Sellers list. It's like, thank you, because I think that people that read the book will have a very different take on the book."

‘TWISTER' SEQUEL IS IN THE WORKS: According to Today, a sequel to the 1996 film Twister is in the works at Universal Pictures and Amblin Entertainment. Titled Twisters, the new movie follows the daughter of Helen Hunt and Bill Paxton's characters from the original film, as she chases storms like her parents. Universal did not comment on whether Hunt would be reprising her role. Paxton died at the age of 61 in 2017, due to complications from a heart surgery.

‘THE DAILY SHOW' CONSIDERS HAVING MORE THAN ONE HOST FOLLOWING TREVOR NOAH'S DEPARTURE: Deadline reports that Comedy Central is considering having two or three hosts for The Daily Show, as they look to replace Trevor Noah. Noah announced he was leaving the talk show in September. His last episode is scheduled for December 8th.

ANNA MAY WONG WILL BE THE FIRST ASIAN AMERICAN ON U.S. CURRENCY: Today reports that Anna May Wong, a trailblazing Chinese American actress during Hollywood's golden age, will make history as the first Asian American to be featured on U.S. currency. Wong's likeness will be featured on a new U.S. quarter, which is expected to begin shipping on October 24th.

WATCH THE TRAILER FOR ‘CREED III:' MGM dropped the trailer for Creed III, starring Michael B. Jordan and Jonathan Majors, on Tuesday (October 18th). In Jordan's directorial debut, Jordan and Majors go head-to-head, as Major's character Damian tells Jordan's character Adonis he's "coming for everything."

JESSE WILLIAMS TO GUEST STAR ON 19TH SEASON OF ‘GREY'S ANATOMY:' Deadline reports that Jesse Williams will be making his way back to Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital on the 19th season of Grey's Anatomy. Williams is set to guest star and direct the fifth episode on the new season, scheduled to air on November 3rd.

Jason Sudeikis and Olivia Wilde's former nanny spoke to The Daily Mail recently, revealing some surprising details about the former couple's split. In one of the stories the nanny told, Sudeikis was so upset about Wilde leaving to meet Harry Styles one day, he threw himself under the back of her car.

Sudeikis was allegedly especially distraught over Wilde preparing a salad with her "special dressing" for Styles. "The night she left with her salad, Jason had chased after her, videotaping her in the house. She was saying: ‘I'm scared of you, Jason, I'm scared of you.' And he said: ‘If you're scared of me, why are you leaving your kids with me?'" the nanny said.

She continued, "So then, Jason went outside and lay under her car so she wouldn't leave. She got in her car to back up, he lay under her car so she wouldn't leave." The nanny added, "Out of everything, he was like, ‘She made her special salad dressing and took it to him.'"

JASON SUDEIKIS AND OLIVIA WILDE DENY FORMER NANNY'S ACCUSATIONS

Following the release of the Daily Mail interview on Monday (October 17th), People reports that Jason Sudeikis and Olivia Wilde released a joint statement denying the nanny's claims, calling them "false and scurrilous."

"As parents, it is incredibly upsetting to learn that a former nanny of our two young children would choose to make such false and scurrilous accusations about us publicly," the statement said. "Her now 18 month long campaign of harassing us, as well as loved ones, close friends and colleagues, has reached its unfortunate apex."

The former couple added, "We will continue to focus on raising and protecting our children with the sincere hope that she will now choose to leave our family alone."
