Lizzo and Jack Black will both have roles in the new season of The Mandalorian. Jack Black posted about it online and shared a photo of the two of them.

According to Entertainment Weekly, the duo plays Duchess and Captain Bombardier, rulers of Plazir-15, which operates partly as a democracy.

Justin Long and Kate Bosworth spoke about the sweet moment the Dodgeball actor proposed on Tuesday's (April 4th) episode of his Life is Short podcast. This comes weeks after fans started speculating that they were engaged.

"I did have a special thing planned around your birthday," Long said. "And about a month before that, life—like we were talking about—things change, and sometimes they change pretty drastically without any warnings."

Bosworth chimed in, continuing the story: "We had just gone through this really hard thing, and we had spoken to a therapist and we were trying to move through things at the time and she gave us a really great piece of advice which was: Make sure that you're pretty consistently asking the other what you need, or asking the other what they need."

The Blue Crush actress recalled asking Long what he needed one morning following this therapy session. "I remember, I smiled at you, and I said, 'What do you need?' And he, like, really looked at me and he said, 'To spend my life with you.' And I smiled and I said, 'Well, yeah, you have that. Oh my gosh, you have that,' and he said, 'No, I mean I really want to spend my life with you.'"

Bosworth added, "I thought it was the most romantic and honest and loving proposal."

Chris Pratt opened up to Drew Barrymore on Tuesday (April 4th) about how meeting his wife, Katherine Schwarzenegger, has changed his life.

"God has a fast-forward button, you know, when it's right, boom," he said on The Drew Barrymore Show. "You get hit, you fall in love, you get married, now we have two beautiful daughters to add to my family. It feels really great."

The Guardians of the Galaxy star shared that he was going through a difficult time before he met Schwarzenegger. "There was a moment in my life where I was really struggling and felt really broken," he said. "For me, my own journey of finding a higher power and leaning on that and feeling like, 'Please save me,' and feeling saved. And shortly later meeting the woman of my dreams. It's all about timing. There's a perfect plan out there for you. You have to have faith."

When Barrymore asked about the couple meeting in a place of faith, he replied, "You kind of don't want to be like, 'Whoa, who's that?' at church. But I was sneaking some glances and wondering, 'Who is that? Anyway, what am I doing? Come on, I'm broken, help me. But who's that?' So we hit it off. We didn't start dating right away, but we met there and later on, ended up going out."

Pratt and Schwarzenegger were married in 2019. They share two daughters, Lyla and Eloise.

Melissa McCarthy is giving fans a preview of her performance as Ursula in the live-action remake of The Little Mermaid. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly published on Tuesday (April 4th), the Bridesmaids actress said drag inspired how she brought the role to life.

"There's a drag queen that lives in me," McCarthy told the outlet. "I'm always right on the verge of going full-time with her." The Tammy actress even began her career performing as the drag persona Miss Y at nightclubs in New York City.

"To keep the humor and the sadness and the edginess to Ursula is everything I want in a character — and frankly, everything I want in a drag queen," she said. The Little Mermaid composer Alan Menken also told the outlet that Ursula is inspired by Divine from Pink Flamingos.

Speaking about Ursula, McCarthy added, "She's been put in this lair. It's like she's had too many martinis alone. Her friends are eels. That is a woman who has seen it, been in it, dug her way back out. All my references are terrible, but I kept thinking, ‘Many a Pall Mall has this woman had.'"

CHECK OUT THE NEW TRAILER FOR ‘BARBIE:' According to The Hollywood Reporter, the second trailer for Barbie was released on Tuesday (April 4th), revealing multiple Barbies and Kens. Alongside Margot Robbie's classic Barbie is Issa Rae's president Barbie, Kate McKinnon's gymnast Barbie, and Dua Lipa's mermaid Barbie, among others. Some of the Kens featured in the film are played by Ncuti Gatwa, Simu Liu, and Kingsley Ben-Adir. Liu's Ken rivals Ryan Gosling's Ken in the new trailer. The film is set to reach theaters on July 21st.

TYLER PERRY IS ‘BEYOND INTERESTED' IN BUYING BET: Entertainment Tonight spoke with Tyler Perry recently about his rumored interest in purchasing a majority stake in BET. "Rumor? No, it's not a rumor," Perry told the outlet. "I've been there for four years now and had tremendous success. I wasn't expecting this to happen, so, yes -- if that is possible, I'm very, very interested in taking as much of it … If it's possible, I'm gonna take as much of it as I can." He added, "We can very much say that there are conversations. I am beyond interested."

The animated sequel features Shameik Moore as Miles Morales, Hailee Steinfeld as Gwen Stacy, Oscar Isaac as Spider-Man 2099, Jake Johnson as Peter B. Parker, Issa Rae as Spider-Woman, Daniel Kaluuya as Spider-Punk, and Jason Schwartzman as the Spot. Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is set to reach theaters on June 2nd.

On Monday (April 3rd), Leonardo DiCaprio testified in Washington, D.C. in former Fugees member Pras Michel's international money laundering trial. The Titanic actor spoke about his relationship with Malaysian businessman Jho Low, who is accused of giving Michel millions of dollars to allegedly try to persuade former President Donald Trump and other government officials to stop investigating the financier.

Low helped fund DiCaprio's film The Wolf of Wall Street and is known for giving the Romeo + Juliet actor Marlon Brando's Best Actor Oscar for 1954's On the Waterfront. DiCaprio testified that he met Low in Las Vegas in 2010. "I understood him to be a huge businessman with many different connections in Abu Dhabi and Malaysia," he said while on the stand.

DiCaprio also shared that he met Michel in the 1990s, and that he remembers the rapper being present at some of Low's lavish parties. Michel pleaded not guilty to the charges brought against him.

Grey's Anatomy star Caterina Scorsone took to Instagram on Monday (April 3rd) to reveal that she lost her house and four of her pets to a fire earlier this year.

"Hello friends (cw: fire/loss)," she wrote. "A couple of months ago my house burned down. While getting my kids ready for bed and finishing bath time, smoke began to seep up through the grout around the tub. When I looked down the hallway a river of thick black smoke had already formed and was filling the house."

Scorsone shared a carousel of photos that featured damage from the fire as well as the pets that she and her children are grieving. "One thing about fires: they happen fast. I had about two minutes to get my three kids out of the house, and we escaped with less than shoes on our feet. But we got out. And for that I am eternally grateful," she continued. "Heartbreakingly, we lost all four of our pets. We are still sitting with that loss, but we are lucky we got to love them at all."

The Private Practice actress added, "What we learned is that the only thing that matters are the people (and beings) that you love. The only thing that matters is community. We would not be here without it and we are so grateful. Thank you."

Barbie Ferreira appeared on Dax Shepherd's Armchair Expert podcast recently and spoke about her decision to leave the hit show Euphoria. The Nope actress shared that she didn't want to be relegated to the role of "the fat best friend."

Speaking about her character, Kat, Ferreira said, "I think there were places she could have gone. I just don't think it would have fit into the show."

She continued, telling Shepherd, "I don't know if it was going to do her justice, and I think both parties knew that I really wanted to be able to not be the fat best friend. Scarlett Johansson is sharing her experience as a mother. On Sunday's (April 2nd) episode of the Skinny Confidential Him & Her Podcast, the Black Widow star got candid about how difficult raising kids can be.

"It's really tough," she said. "I remember my daughter when she was 2, I said, 'This is great. I don't know what everybody is talking about.' And then she turned 3, and it's like being in an emotionally abusive relationship."

Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves had a successful debut at the domestic box office over the weekend, bringing in $38.5 million. Documents state that Witherspoon and Toth had a prenuptial agreement in place, and that she requested joint custody of their 10-year-old son, Tennessee James. This comes after the Legally Blonde actress was spotted in public, sans wedding ring, for the first time since they announced their plans to divorce.

LUKAS GAGE WANTS TO PLAY LAWYER WHO GRILLED GWYNETH PALTROW IN SKI CRASH TRIAL: The White Lotus star Lukas Gage has a vision when it comes to reenacting Gwyneth Paltrow's recent trial. Speaking with People on Friday (March 31st), he shared how much he wants to play Kristin VanOrman, the opposing attorney who went viral for questioning Paltrow. "Give me the opportunity to play this role. This is what I'm talking about, when people confuse actors for their real-life character," he said. CHRIS PRATT ADDRESSES ‘SUPER MARIO BROS. MOVIE' CASTING CRITICISM: In a recent interview with Extra, Chris Pratt addressed the criticism he's faced for being cast as Mario in the upcoming Super Mario Bros. Movie. The Parks and Recreation star said that he knows there's a "passionate fanbase" when it comes to the game. "I understand, I'm part of it," he said. "This is the soundtrack to your youth. CAROLE BASKIN TO CLOSE BIG CAT RESCUE SANCTUARY: According to Deadline, Tiger King star Carole Baskin is closing the Big Cat Rescue Sanctuary that was featured in the hit docuseries. Her husband, Howard Baskin, wrote in a memo: "Big Cat Rescue has entered into an agreement with Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge, an accredited sanctuary in Arkansas, to move most of Big Cat Rescue's cats to Turpentine Creek where we will continue to fund their care for the rest of their lives." The most sought-after recognition of the CMT Music Awards, Video of the Year, went to Kane Brown and his wife Katelyn Brown for their performance of "Thank God." Emotional and admittingly nervous, she thanked her husband and gave him a kiss. The category started out with 16 nominees and fan voting was narrowed down to three, just hours before the winner was announced. Kane also served as co-host alongside Kelsea Ballerini.

Jelly Roll was the night's big winner as he seemed to be, not only a fan favorite, but well respected among his peers. He took home Best Male Video, Digital-First Performance, and Breakthrough Male Video for "Son of a Sinner." Joined by a choir of 16 people, his performance of "Need A Favor (I Only Talk To God)" had most of the audience standing.

Lainey Wilson, who started the evening with four nominations, won Female Video for "Heart Like A Truck" and shared Best Collaboration with HARDY for "Wait in The Truck". Megan Moroney won Female Breakthrough Video for "Tennessee Orange."

Along with performances by some of country music's biggest stars, the night consisted of artists from several genres of music, including a tribute to Lynyrd Skynyrd, a performance my Alanis Morissette, and a presentation by Megan Thee Stallion to Shania Twain for her Equal Play Award.

After being held in Music City for decades, this year's show had a new home in Austin, Texas.

• "Let me start by saying let's go, girls. Listen, when I wrote the phrase "Man, I feel like a woman," I had no idea it would become an undercurrent of a decades long career. It's amazing how just one statemet can empower so many. "Man! I feel like a woman" has been adopted by an array of fantastic communities all around the world and become a genuine path of power and progress for women. Women in country music. Which brings me so much joy. Thank you to CMT for pushing the equal play agenda and thank you for always supporting me. In fact, you know what, you may not know this. But the CMT rising star award was my very first award ever. 30 years ago. That was in 1993. CMT holds a very special place in my heart. And I promise I will continue to champion the many outstanding country artists who are not currently played. They are not streamed, tours signed or awarded at the level they deserve so I believe in an all-inclusive country music. We are a family. This is a genre of music with a rich history that raised and nurtured my own songwriting and performance and recording career from childhood. Currently the industry standard does a real disservice to this. Let us, the country music industry, do our part to close work space for all talent. This year, I'm takinmany amazing artists on my queen of knee tour robin, Priscilla, several more. My hope is that this opportunity and spotlight impresses you mu much. And lifts up the careers of these very talented people on their journey. Gwyneth Paltrow was found not liable after eight days of testimony in her highly contentious ski collision trial.

A Park City, Utah jury also awarded the actress a symbolic $1 victory in her countersuit against Dr. Terry Sanderson. Sanderson claimed that the Oscar winner had slammed into him at Deer Valley Resort in 2016, causing ongoing health issues.

In response to the verdict, Paltrow said in a statement posted to her Instagram Stories, "I felt that acquiescing to a false claim compromised my integrity," Paltrow said in a statement. "I am pleased with the outcome and I appreciate all of the hard work of Judge Holmberg and the jury, and thank them for their thoughtfulness in handling this case."
