Taylor Swift screened the short film for "All Too Well" at the Tribeca Film Festival Friday (September 9th) night where she revealed that she would be interested in directing a feature film.

According to Deadline, the singer said, "I'd love to keep taking baby steps forward. And I think that I'm at a place now where the next baby step is not a baby step, it would be committing to making a film and I would love for the right opportunity to arise because I absolutely adore telling stories this way."

Swift recently won the Best Direction award for "All Too Well" at the VMAs along with Video of the Year and Best Longform Video.

Britney Spears continues to struggle with her children's estrangement.

The pop star shared a voice note on Instagram Saturday (September 10th), where she reminded people that she was the boys' primary guardian until they were nine.

She said, "Since they've been gone, I've honestly felt like a huge part of me has died. Like literally, I have no purpose anymore."

Spears continued, "Honestly, I don't understand how it's just so easy for them just to cut me off like that. I don't understand it."

The "Toxic" singer followed up with a separate post Sunday (September 11th) where she addressed the fractured relationship with her own parents. In the caption, she stated, "I pray you both burn in hell."

In her forthcoming memoir Live Wire: Long-Winded Short Stories, Kelly Ripa detailed the time in 1997 when she passed out in the middle of sex with her husband, Mark Consuelos. Unfortunately for Ripa, it wasn't because the sex was just that good.

The Live with Kelly and Ryan host shared that she passed out due to two large cysts growing on her ovaries. Of her time in the hospital, she wrote, "My eyes shift between the fuzzy images on the screen, the remnants of my ovarian tormentor, and Mark happily snacking away. Sex can be so traumatic I think, and yet one of us is completely undaunted. There he is, happily munching on the saltines now and ordering a second apple juice. Mark could be at a movie, or a spa. Instead, I'm flat on my back wondering when the other two cysts will burst."

The All My Children actress added that she was shocked by the way Consuelos decided to dress her. "Here is my husband, who is, dare I say, stylish, well-dressed at all times, and yet he dressed me like a dime store prostitute in my time of need. It's still baffling to me to this day that this is the best costume for the day that he could find for me, to the point where, when I was on the stretcher, I thought I was dreaming; I was having a nightmare. I didn't realize I had come to," she wrote.

Apparently, the Riverdale actor dressed her in a French-cut leotard, a pair of his Juventus pants with side snaps, and red Manolo Blahniks heels.

Momager Kris Jenner took a lie detector test on The Late Late Show with James Corden recently and revealed who her favorite child is. Jenner is a mom to six children: Kourtney, Kim, Khloe, Rob, Kendall, and Kylie.

Kylie appeared on the show with her and asked, "Am I your favorite child?" Kris, hooked up to the machine, said yes. When the test showed that she wasn't lying, she added that she "can't go home" now.

"Oh my god. The speed in which you answered," Corden said.

At the D23 Expo on Friday (September 9th), Patrick Dempsey not only debuted his new platinum blonde hair, but he also crashed his longtime Grey's Anatomy costar's red-carpet interview.

Yahoo Entertainment's Kevin Polowy was in the middle of an interview with Ellen Pompeo when Dempsey grabbed the microphone. "Hi everybody, I'm on the red carpet with Yahoo interviewing the legendary Ellen Pompeo," he said, turning to face the camera.

Referencing Grey's Anatomy, he asked his former onscreen wife, "How is the new season? A lot of new faces on there. Are you going to do 30 seasons?" Pompeo laughed and said, "No, I'm not going to do 30 seasons, I'm going to do eight episodes."

Pompeo spoke to Deadline about her reduced role on the show as well. "Grey's is still gonna be just fine without me — I'm still gonna do the voiceover," she said.

She added, "I'm gonna always be a part of that show – I'm an exec producer on that show, I've spent two decades of my career on that show, it's my heart and soul, and I'll never truly be gone as long as that show's on the air."

The summer slowdown at the box office continues, as the Disney horror film Barbarian claimed the top spot this weekend with $10 million. Meanwhile, Top Gun: Maverick is in the number four spot, bringing in a total of $705.7 million over 16 weeks. It is now the fifth highest-grossing film of all time.

Kali Uchis and Ariana Grande are planning a collaboration.

WATCH THE TEASER TRAILER FOR ‘THE LITTLE MERMAID:' According to Variety, Disney revealed a first look at Halle Bailey as Ariel in the live-action remake of The Little Mermaid at the D23 Expo. Shortly after this footage was released, people started confusing Halle Bailey for Halle Berry again. BuzzFeed reports that, in a since-deleted tweet, one Twitter user wrote, "Halle Berry is nearly 60 playing the role of a 16-year-old girl. This is what happens when you upset a fandom." Berry responded to the tweet with a meme expressing disbelief.

HARRISON FORD AND KE HUY QUAN REUNITE AT D23: Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom actor Ke Huy Quan posted a photo of himself reuniting with Harrison Ford at D23 on Saturday (September 10th). "'I love you, Indy.' Indiana Jones and Short Round reunited after 38 years," he captioned the post. Variety reports that Ford was emotional as he introduced the trailer for Indiana Jones 5 at the event, which is not yet available to the public. "‘Indiana Jones' movies are about fantasy and mystery, but they're also about heart. We have a really great story to tell, as well as a movie that will kick your ass," Ford said. He also seemed to indicate this would be his time playing the role. "This is it. I will not fall down for you again. But thank you so much."

ANA DE ARMAS SAYS MARILYN MONROE HAUNTED THE SET OF ‘BLONDE:' According to Reuters, Ana de Armas believes the ghost of Marilyn Monroe appeared on the set of the new biopic Blonde. "I truly believe that she was very close to us. She was with us," de Armas told reporters at the Venice Film Festival. "I think she was happy. She would also throw things off the wall sometimes and get mad if she didn't like something. Maybe this sounds very mystical, but it is true. We all felt it." CNN reports that Blonde received a 14-minute standing ovation following its premiere in Venice, and that de Armas was seen wiping her eyes and hugging her costar, Adrien Brody.

MICHELLE YEOH STARS AS A MYTHOLOGICAL GODDESS IN ‘AMERICAN BORN CHINESE:' Variety reports that a featurette of the new Disney+ series American Born Chinese was released at the D23 Expo over the weekend. Michelle Yeoh plays a mythological goddess in the show, which is based on a graphic novel by Gene Luen Yang. "It's a lot of fun, it's a log of magic, it's a lot of badass action," Yeoh says in the featurette. "It is a magical ride and that's what Disney+ is all about," she adds.

Olivia Wilde denied leaving Jason Sudekis for Harry Styles in the latest issue of Vanity Fair.

The Don't Worry Darling director told the outlet, "The complete horses**t idea that I left Jason for Harry is completely inaccurate. Our relationship was over long before I met Harry Like any relationship that ends, it doesn't end overnight."

She also slammed the "baseless rumors" of a rift between her and the film's star, Florence Pugh.

Wilde said, "Florence is one of the most in-demand actresses in the universe. She's on set on Dune. I gather that some people expect for her to be engaging more on social media. According to Rolling Stone magazine founder Jann Wenner's upcoming memoir, Like A Rolling Stone, Jolie told an Us Weekly photographer that the couple was staying at a resort on the coast of Africa. According to the Transformers star, Sayna Saide died of heart failure in a Los Angeles hospital August 27th.

His family issued a statement confirming his death to Deadline, saying, "David passed way peacefully today in his home and doctors have ruled the cause of death due to natural causes. The 54-year-old headlined two Netflix comedy specials, was a writer/producer on Fuller House, and the creator of Nickelodeon's That Girl Lay Lay.

'BACHELORETTE' CONTESTANT CALLED OUT FOR WEARING BLACKFACE IN YEARBOOK PHOTO: Bachelorette star Erich Schwer is being called out for a recently surfaced high school yearbook photo that shows him wearing blackface. The photo shows the now 29-year-old real estate analyst in an Afro wig and dark makeup. He apologized on Instagram Thursday (September 8th), writing, "I wholeheartedly apologize for the insensitive photo of me in Blackface from my high school yearbook that has been circulating. What I thought at the time was a representation of my love for Jimi Hendrix, was nothing but ignorance. NETFLIX TO PAUSE PRODUCTION ON 'THE CROWN': Netflix's The Crown will likely stop production on Season 6 following the death of Queen Elizabeth II. Sources close to series creator Peter Morgan confirmed to Variety that the hit drama about the Queen's reign will take a pause. The monarch's death comes ahead of Season 5 of the Netflix series, which is set to premiere in November and feature a new cast including Imelda Staunton as Queen Elizabeth.

CLAIRE DANES TO STAR IN SEVEN SODERBERG SERIES FOR HBOMAX: Deadline reports that Claire Dane swill star as lead opposite Zazie Beetz in the Steven Soderbergh directed HBOMax series, Full Circle. The drama follows an investigation into a botched kidnapping connecting multiple characters and cultures in present-day New York City.

'THE HANDMAID'S TALE' TO END WITH SEASON 6: The Handmaid's Tale will end with Season 6. Hulu announced Thursday, (September 8th) at the show's Season 5 premiere event in Toronto, that the drama had been renewed for its final season. Season 5 will begin streaming Wednesday, September 14, with a two-episode premiere.

Florence Pugh may have skipped the Venice Film Festival press conference for Don't Worry Darling, but she's singing her praises for the film on Instagram.

Despite the rumors of a rift between Pugh and the film's director, Olivia Wilde, the Little Women actress shared a carousel of photos from the film premiere and wrote, "A massive congratulations to everyone standing on that carpet. We premiered in Venice! A huge wonderful win in itself. I'd never been to Venice Film Festival before.. It was mega! The crowds! The cheers! The energy was incredible.

"And to all the cast and crew as well who helped to make this movie, thank you for all of your hard work. We genuinely wouldn't have been there without your talent and we appreciate it hugely."

Despite promoting the film on social media, Rolling Stone reported Wednesday (September 7th) that the star is planning to skip the film's New York City premiere on September 19th due to a scheduling conflict with Dune: Part 2.

Getting in shape for Baywatch left Zac Efron in a deep depression.

The actor told Men's Health that his diet and fitness plans for the 2017 movie took a serious toll. He said, "I started to develop insomnia and I fell into a pretty bad depression Something about that experience burned me out. I had a really hard time recentering. Ultimately, they chalked it up to taking way too many diuretics for way too long, and it messed something up."

Going forward, he says he "prefers to have an extra, you know, 2 to 3 percent body fat."

Extreme weightloss wasn't the only concerning physical transformation Efron underwent. The Firestarter star also broke his jaw after slipping and hitting a fountain while running in his socks at home. He told the magazine that he passed out and woke up to find his chin bone hanging off of his face.

Physical therapy for his face caused his masseter muscles, used for chewing, to get "really, really big." His altered appearance caused social media users to speculate that he had undergone plastic surgery following the release of a 2021 Earth Day promo video.

Efron said his own mother called to see if he'd had a cosmetic procedure.

Fortunately, the actor doesn't let rumors get to him. He said, "If I valued what other people thought of me to the extent that they may think I do. I defnitely wouldn't be able to do this work."

Camila Morrone had a girls' night out with some famous friends following her split from Leonardo DiCaprio.

According to TMZ, the 25-year-old model was spotted with Kendall Jenner and Hailey Bieber at Sushi Park in West Hollywood Tuesday (September 6th) night.

The outlet points out that both Bieber and Jenner were good friends with GiGi Hadid, who is rumored to be dating DiCaprio now.

NICK CAGE AND WIFE WELCOME FIRST CHILD TOGETHER: Nicolas Cage and wife Riko Shibata have welcomed their first child. According to People, August Francesca Coppola Cage was born in Los Angeles Wednesday (September 7th). The baby girl is Shibata's first child and Cage's third.

BILLIE LOURD IS EXPECTING: Billie Lourd and husband Austen Rydell are expecting their second child together. The actress revealed her baby bump Wednesday (September 7th) on the red carpet for her new film Ticket To Paradise. Page Six reports that she cradled her bump in a pink sequined mini dress as she posed for reporters. The couple welcomed their first child, son Kingston Fisher, back in 2020.

DIANA JENKINS MAKES DONATION TO TOM GIRARDI'S ALLEGED VICTIMS: Diana Jenkins announced Wednesday (September 7th) that she made a sizable donation to the alleged victims of Tom Girardi, the estranged husband of her Real Housewives of Beverly Hills costar Erika Jayne. According to a press release from Jenkin's charity, The Sunela Foundation, $100,000 has been donated to the immediate family members of the 189 passengers and crew who were killed in the 2018 Lion Air 610 flight tragedy. Girardi has ben accused of embezzling settlement money from the Lion Air 610 flight victims' lawsuits in order to fund his wife's lavish lifestyle.

KATE WALSH TO RECUR ON 'GREY'S ANATOMY': Dr. Addison Montgomery is returning to Seattle Grace. Variety reports that Kate Walsh will be returning to Grey's Anatomy in a recurring capacity in Season 19.

'BLING EMPIRE' RETURNS TO NETFLIX IN OCTOBER: Season 3 of Bling Empire is heading to Netflix this fall. E! News reports that new episodes will be available on October 5th.

'MASKED SINGER' CHANGES FORMAT AHEAD OF SEASON 8: The Masked Singer is undergoing some major changes ahead of its eighth season. TV Line reports that the show will have theme nights and multiple reveals every week, with the singer with the lowest number of votes being unmasked mid-show. The show is set to premiere September 21st on Fox.

KELLY CLARKSON TO TAKE ELLEN'S TIMESLOT: The Kelly Clarkson Show will take Ellen DeGeneres' 3pm timeslot when it returns for Season 4. The American Idol winner told Variety, "Nobody is going to fill Ellen's shoes. I hold the Oprahs and the Ellens in such high regard. Very few people can conquer what they conquered."

Kim Kardashian is bearing her booty for the September 2022 "American Dream" issue of Interview.

The reality star appears with bleach blonde hair and eyebrows and a pair of jeans slung below a jock strap for the cover photos.

Inside the issue, Kardashian addressed accusations that she is using her new private jet despite saying she's doing her part to combat climate change. She told the magazine, "I do what I can, but you have to pick and choose what really works for you in your life. No one's going to be 100 percent perfect."
