Johnny Depp has donated some of the proceeds from his recent NFT sale to a charity with links to Amber Heard.

Radar reports that the actor's NFT community, Never Fear Truth, recently pulled in $800,000 in donations. The revenue was split between the Perth Children's Hospital Foundation, the Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity, The Footprint Coalition and the Children's Hospital of Los Angeles.

Heard promised the latter organization half of her $7 million divorce settlement in 2016 and still hasn't paid up.

Now that Michelle Young and Nayte Olukoya have broken up, what will the Bachelor Nation couple do with the $200,000 check they received for a down payment on a house?

Young said on an episode of The Ben and Ashley I. Almost Famous Podcast, "That was money that was gifted to both of us and I think that's something that is going to be decided how that's going to be utilized going forward."

She suggested that she'd like it to be used for a good cause.

The Bachelorette added, " "I've been crying on the phone with one of the producers and like, 'Can I give this money? Like, can I create this to give the money to somebody else?' It's something that I feel good about. I know that's been the million-dollar question—no pun intended. But, yeah, it's been a lot."

From there he went to the hospital to treat an injured wrist, a strip club, and a friend's house where he appeared to be unconscious. Margera eventually returned to rehab two days later.

'BETTER CALL SAUL' RECASTS ROLE: Better Call Saul has recast the role of Jeff, an overeager cab driver who recognizes Saul in a Season 5 flash-forward. TV Line reports that Pat Healy will take over for Don Harvey.

'HUNGER GAMES' PREQUEL ROUNDS OUT CAST: Deadline reports that the Hunger Games prequel, The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes, has added to its cast. The newest tributes and mentors include Irene Boehm, Cooper Dillon, Luna Kuse, Kjell Brutscheidt, Dimitri Abold, Athena Strates, Dakota Shapiro, George Somner and Vaughan Reilly. They'll join West Side Story star Rachel Zegler who will star as District 12 tribute Lucy Gray Baird.

CHRISTIAN SLATER AND ALIA SHAKAT JOIN ZOE KRAVITZ'S DIRECTORIAL DEBUT: According to Deadline, Zoe Kravitz has rounded out the cast for her directorial debut, Pussy Island. Christian Slater, Alia Shawkat, Geena Davis, Adria Arjona, Haley Joel Osment, Liz Caribel Sierra, Levon Hawke, Trew Mullen, Saul Williams, Cris Costa and Kyle MacLachlan will join previously announced actors Naomi Ackie, Channing Tatum and Simon Rex.

'MINIONS' SETS BOX OFFICE RECORD: Minions: The Rise of Gru set a record for the best Tuesday ever for an Illumination Entertainment title at the domestic box office. The film grossed $17.53 million on July 5th, topping the $17.51 million made by the animation studio's Sing on December 27th, 2017.

Natalie Portman is opening up about her time on the set of Thor: Love and Thunder. With nearly a decade passing since the last time Portman starred in a Thor movie, she told Vogue Australia that she felt like "kind of the new kid."

The Star Wars actress said it was "incredible" and "surreal" to return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but that she had to "figure out how to fit in" again.

Portman continued, commenting on her costars Chris Hemsworth, Tessa Thompson, and Taika Waititi's relationships with one another: "Because Chris and Tessa and Taika had worked together on ‘Ragnarok,' and so successfully and so it was like they were all reuniting and I was this newbie in there trying to figure out how to fit in," she said.

She added, "But also they're just the nicest people, and also I know Chris and Tessa so well from previous work together, and also I had done ‘Thor' movies twice before. So there was a lot of familiarity and comfort in that world too, but it was this weird mix of being the veteran and the newbie at the same time. I was there at the beginning. On Monday (July 4th), Bette Midler took to Twitter to share her thoughts on some of the trans-inclusive language being used around reproductive rights. Many Twitter users responded to the Beaches actress' tweet with disappointment and attempted to reason with her.

"WOMEN OF THE WORLD! We are being stripped of our rights over our bodies, our lives and even of our name! They don't call us ‘women' anymore; they call us ‘birthing people' or ‘menstruators,' and even ‘people with vaginas!' Don't let them erase you! Every human on earth owes you," Midler wrote.

One person responded, "Really disappointed in this as a trans man and a Bette Midler fan. Bette, including trans men in the conversation about reproductive health does not harm women. We have the same organs, and even greater vulnerability, as cis woman."

Bad Feminist author Roxane Gay wrote, "No one is trying to erase women with inclusive language about people who need abortion care. No one is calling you anything but what you prefer. You should extend that courtesy in return."

Another user responded, "As a woman without a uterus, I support inclusive language to normalize that trans men need reproductive healthcare too, 100% It's not trans people who are taking away my right to bodily anatomy. We're all fighting the same fight."

Barry Sonnenfeld, the director of Men in Black, admitted in an interview with Insider that he downplayed the role of Agent J. to Chris O'Donnell because he wanted it to go to Will Smith. Producers wanted O'Donnell for the part.

"I had suggested Tommy Lee Jones and Will Smith. Will was actually my wife's idea," Sonnenfeld said. However, producers weren't sold on Smith since he was known more for his music and his work on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.

"I met with Chris and he had concerns about the script and had another movie offer. So I told him, 'Yeah, we might never fix this script and I don't think I know how to direct this movie.' So he passed on the movie the next day," Sonnenfeld recalled.

In an interview with GQ published on Monday (July 4th), Stranger Things actor David Harbour shared some sweet details about his relationship with Lily Allen. The married couple first met via the exclusive dating app Raya.

"I was in London alone, doing Black Widow, on this app, going on dates and stuff. And yeah, I started texting with her, she was in Italy at the time — we got together, went on a date at the Wolseley, and it was, you know, she's fucking unbelievable," Harbour said.

Tom Hanks, who voiced Woody in the original Toy Story movie, commented on Chris Evans replacing his costar Tim Allen in Lightyear. During a recent episode of the ReelBlend podcast, Hanks was asked if it was strange to have his new film Elvis hitting theaters at the same time as Lightyear.

ABC TO BROADCAST LIVE-ACTION ‘BEAUTY AND THE BEAST:' According to The Hollywood Reporter, ABC will be celebrating the 30-year anniversary of Disney's Beauty and the Beast with a two-hour live-action/animated special. The special is scheduled to air on December 15th and will be available for streaming on Disney+ on December 16th.

‘STRANGER THINGS' CROSSES ONE BILLION HOURS WATCHED: Deadline reports that, after the final two episodes of Stranger Things dropped on July 1st, the show has passed the billion hours watched mark. Stranger Things is the second show to hit this goalpost, with Squid Game being the first.

THE TRAILER FOR ‘RAP SH!T' IS RELEASED: Variety reports that the trailer for Insecure creator Issa Rae's new show Rap Sh!t dropped on Tuesday (July 5th). The series, which follows two former high school friends who reunite to form a rap group in Miami, will premiere on July 21st on HBO Max.

CHRIS EVANS TO COSTAR ALONGSIDE EMILY BLUNT FOR ‘PAIN HUSTLERS:' Deadline reports that Captain America star Chris Evans is set to star opposite Emily Blunt in the Netflix movie Pain Hustlers. Production for the film, which centers around a high-school dropout named Liza Drake (Blunt) in Central Florida, is expected to begin in late August.

Celebrities had mixed feelings about the Fourth of July this year. Following the overturning of Roe v. Wade last month, many stars shared a post by the user @bitton that reads, "4th of July has been canceled due to a shortage of Independence. Sincerely, Women." Bette Midler, Kim Kardashian, Kris Jenner, and J. Smith-Cameron are among those who shared the post.

Amber Heard's attorneys have filed a motion calling for the verdict in Johnny Depp's defamation trial to be thrown out.

In the memorandum submitted to the Fairfax County Circuit Court on Friday (July 1st), the Aquaman actress' attorneys argue that Depp did not provide evidence of actual malice or defamation. Instead, they state that he "proceeded solely on a defamation by implication theory, abandoning any claims that Ms. Heard's statements were actually false."

Additionally, the document includes a request to investigate "improper juror service." Heard's lawyers claim one of the jurors listed their birth year as 1945, whereas "publicly available information" shows they were born in 1970.

"This discrepancy raises the question whether Juror 15 actually received a summons for jury duty and was properly vetted by the court to serve on the jury," Heard's attorneys said.

In response to this filing, one of Depp's lawyers said it is "what they expected, just longer, no more substantive."

Seven months after sharing that she was engaged to Bader Shammas, Freaky Friday star Lindsay Lohan posted to Instagram revealing that she was a married woman. On Saturday (July 2nd), Lohan celebrated her 36th birthday by posting a photo of herself with Shammas.

"I am the luckiest woman in the world. You found me and knew that I wanted to find happiness and grace, all at the same time," she wrote.

On Monday (July 4th), Rachel Brosnahan took to Twitter to address the tragic shooting that took place during a Fourth of July parade in Highland Park, Illinois. "I grew up in Highland Park and this parade is a highlight of the year for so many families," the Marvelous Life of Mrs. Maisel actress wrote.

Brosnahan continued, "I'm sick to my stomach every time news like this comes out, but I don't wish the pit in your stomach as you call your family and friends to make sure everyone is okay on anyone."

In her Instagram stories, the House of Cards actress shared more. "I grew up in Highland Park and spent nearly every day after school and every weekend being stupid with friends directly across from where today's shooting occurred. I never once considered that I be unsafe there," she wrote.

Brosnahan added, "The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. We have lost our minds. My heart is broken for the families in Highland Park affected by today's shooting."

Minions: The Rise of Gru crushed it at the domestic box office over the Fourth of July weekend. Bringing in $125 million, the Universal movie broke the record for the holiday weekend, beating out Transformers: Dark of the Moon with $115 million in 2011.

A trend featuring the hashtag #gentleminions showed teens arriving in droves to the movie wearing suits. BBC reports that some theaters in the UK banned the teens in suits from seeing the movie, citing rowdiness inside the theaters.

They were spotted leaving the restaurant a month after going to a Cardinals game together in St. Louis.

JAMES CAMERON MIGHT NOT DIRECT FUTURE ‘AVATAR' MOVIES: James Cameron might be taking a step back from the Avatar franchise. In an interview with Empire, the Titanic director said, "The Avatar films themselves are kind of all-consuming. I've got some other things I'm developing as well that are exciting. I think eventually over time – I don't know if that's after three or after four – I'll want to pass the baton to a director that I trust to take over, so I can go do some other stuff that I'm also interested in. Or maybe not. I don't know."

YOUTUBE CHANNEL FOR ‘THE WENDY WILLIAMS SHOW' IS DELETED: Variety reports that the YouTube channel for The Wendy Williams Show seems to have disappeared. Searches for the channel through YouTube did not yield any results. This comes two weeks after the final episode of the 13th season aired.

‘MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE' DIRECTOR SHARES BEHIND-THE-SCENES PHOTO OF TOM CRUISE: On Sunday (July 3rd), Mission: Impossible director Christopher McQuarrie wished Tom Cruise a happy 60th birthday by posting what appears to be a behind-the-scenes photo from the new movie. The image shows Cruise hanging onto the wing of a red vintage biplane. Deadline reports that Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning – Part One is scheduled to be released on July 14th, 2023.

KELSEY GRAMMER GIVES UPDATE ON ‘FRASIER' REBOOT: On Monday's (July 4th) episode of The Talk, Kelsey Grammer provided an update on where things stand with the Frasier revival. On when they plan to start filming, he said, "There have been some conversations about starting in maybe October, maybe a little later … But we're in the final stages of the final script for the first episode of Frasier, and it looks pretty good."

The allegations against The Flash actor Ezra Miller continue to pile up. On Thursday (June 30th), Variety published an article on Miller, including an interview with the woman Miller allegedly choked and pushed to the ground in 2020. A video of the incident went viral in April of the same year.

According to the woman, who wished to remain anonymous, she and Miller were talking at a pub in Iceland when she joked, "But just so you know, I could take you in a fight." She said they responded, "You really want to fight?"

Later, the woman said her friend antagonized the situation by telling Miller that he heard the actor didn't want to fight. "My friend didn't have to say that," she told the outlet. "It was just a joke, obviously — but Miller took that literally and got super mad and came running outside," she shared.

The woman continued, "I think it's just fun and games — but then it wasn't. All of a sudden, they're on top of me, choking me, still screaming in my face if I want to fight. My friend who's filming sees they're obviously not joking and it's actually serious, so he stops filming, and pushes them off me as they're still trying to fight me. Two guy friends of mine are actually holding Miller back as they're screaming, 'This is what you wanted! This is what you wanted!'"

In an exposé published by The Los Angeles Times on Thursday (June 30th), Vanderpump Rules star Lala Kent claimed her ex-fiancé, Randall Emmett, "tackled" her and pushed her to the ground when she confronted him about cheating. According to Kent, this happened after she tried to grab his phone from him.

"He ran after me, tackled me and knocked me to the ground. I used every ounce of strength to get him off of me as he was trying to pry it from my hands," she said. "That was when I knew, for sure, that there was a lot he was hiding."

Emmett's rep, Sallie Hofmeister, denied the allegations. "These allegations are false and part of a now-familiar smear campaign orchestrated by Randall's ex-fiancée to sway their custody dispute. Lala Kent has lied and manipulated others in her desperate attempt to win full custody of her daughter, keep her name in the press, and remain relevant in reality television," she told the newspaper.

The highly successful sitcom Friends, which ran from 1994 to 2004, has received a lot of criticism over the years for focusing on six white, heterosexual individuals living in New York City—one of the most diverse cities in the world.

The show's co-creator, Marta Kauffman, recently addressed the issue, which she said she found "difficult and frustrating" at first.

"I've learned a lot in the last 20 years. Admitting and accepting guilt is not easy. It's painful looking at yourself in the mirror. I'm embarrassed that I didn't know better 25 years ago," Kauffman said in a Zoom interview with The Los Angeles Times.

In an attempt to apologize for the lack of diversity on the show, Kauffman pledged $4 million to the African and African American studies department at her alma mater, Brandeis University.

"It took me a long time to begin to understand how I internalized systemic racism. I've been working really hard to become an ally, an anti-racist. And this seemed to me to be a way that I could participate in the conversation from a white woman's perspective," she told Brandeis.

To honor the late Goodfellas actor Ray Liotta, who passed away in May at the age of 67, his daughter, Karsen Liotta, and his fiancé, Jacy Nittolo, attended the premiere of Black Bird on Wednesday night (June 29th). Liotta stars in the series as Big Jim Keene, father to Taron Egerton's Jimmy Keene, who is sentenced to 10 years in prison—unless he can get a confession out of a suspected serial killer.

At the premiere, Egerton said of Liotta, "I just kind of fell in love with him immediately. We developed a very, very, very close connection, and I had a very special time filming those scenes. I'm very pleased with how they turned out."

A week ago, Nittolo posted a tribute to Liotta on Instagram. "It's hard to believe a month has gone by. There are no words to properly describe what one goes through with this type of unexpected loss. I miss him every second of every day," she wrote. SHANNA MOAKLER HOPES ‘FOR A SPEEDY RECOVERY' FOR EX-HUSBAND TRAVIS BARKER: According to E! News, Shanna Moakler addressed her ex-husband, Travis Barker's, hospitalization on Thursday (June 30th). "Thank you to everyone who has reached out with concern to my ex and father of my children. I know he is in great hands and surrounded by loving support and the best medical teams available and his beautiful wife Kourtney," she said in a statement. MEREDITH VIEIRA JOKES THAT SHE ‘DID HER TIME' ON ‘THE VIEW:' In a recent interview with E!'s Daily Pop, former co-host of The View Meredith Vieira commented on the years she spent on the show. When asked if she would ever return, she said, "You know, there's a time for everything, I like to say, and I kinda did my time. That sounds like a prison term, actually."
