Volodymyr Zelenskyy Thanks Mila Kunis And Ashton Kutcher For Their Support

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, expressed his gratitude to Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher for their support on Sunday (March 20th).

".@aplusk & Mila Kunis were among the first to respond to our grief. They have already raised $35 million & are sending it to @flexport & @Airbnb to help Ukrainian refugees," he posted to Twitter.

"Grateful for their support. Impressed by their determination. They inspire the world. #StandWithUkraine," he added, along with a photo of himself in a video chat with the couple.

Kunis and Kutcher posted to Instagram last week announcing that they'd reached their fundraising goal. "We are overwhelmed with gratitude for your support. 2 weeks ago we asked you to join us and more than 65,000 of you stepped up and donated what you could. Now, with your help we have reached our $30 million goal."

"Our work is not done," they added. "We will do everything we can to ensure that the outpouring of love that came as a part of this campaign finds maximum impact with those in need."

AMY SCHUMER SAYS SHE TRIED TO GET VOLODYMYR ZELENSKYY TO APPEAR AT THE OSCARS

Amy Schumer told Drew Barrymore on an upcoming episode of Barrymore's talk show that she tried to get Volodymyr Zelenskyy to appear at the 2022 Oscars via satellite or with a pre-taped segment. Though she's hosting the event alongside Regina Hall and Wanda Sykes, Schumer said, "I am not afraid to go there, but it's not me producing the Oscars."

The Life & Beth actress continued, "I think there is definitely pressure in one way to be like, ‘This is a vacation, let people forget we just want to have this night,' but it is like, ‘Well we have so many eyes and ears on this show.'"

"I think it's a great opportunity to at least comment on a couple of things. I have some jokes that kind of highlight the sort of current condition. I mean, there are so many awful things happening that it seems hard to focus on which one," she added.

On Sunday (March 20th), West Side Story actress Rachel Zegler revealed that she doesn't have a ticket to the Oscars. Fans were shocked to hear the news, especially since the film is up for so many awards this year, and she is the leading actress.

An Instagram user commented on a series of photos Zegler posted recently, writing, "Can't wait to see what you'll be wearing on Oscar night." Zegler responded, "i'm not invited so sweatpants and my boyfriend's flannel."

She continued, "Idk y'all, I have tried it all, but it doesn't seem to be happening. I will root for ‘West Side Story' from my couch and be proud of the work we so tirelessly did three years ago. Lenny Kravitz and Jason Momoa have quite the bromance. On Saturday (March 19th), Kravitz posted a photo of himself with the Aquaman actor on their respective motorcycles. He captioned the post, "Ride or die. Brothers for life."

Kravitz and Momoa both married The Cosby Show actress Lisa Bonet at different points in time. Kravitz was married to Bonet from 1987 to 1993, and together they had their daughter, Zoe Kravitz.

Bonet got together with Momoa in 2005, but the pair announced their separation in January of this year. Despite this, Us Weekly reports that Bonet was spotted wearing her wedding ring a few days ago.

Simon Rex Wants His Prosthetic Penis To 'Be In A Museum'

At the 33rd annual Producers Guild Awards Saturday (March 19th), Simon Rex told People he "wasn't allowed" to keep the prosthetic penis he wore for Red Rocket. Rex let the world know that he was wearing a prosthesis during the nude scene in the film while accepting the award for Best Male Lead at the Independent Spirit Awards.

"I just had fun with it, and me and Sean Baker ... we agreed that we were going to keep it mysterious, and not say whether or not that was really me naked," he said. "And at that point, after we won the Spirit Award, I said, 'It's time to tell people.' We did this for eight months. We somehow got away with it for eight months. It was just time to let people know."

"I finally had to let it be known," he added.

Rex said that the prop "will be in a museum one day." When asked if he would donate it to the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in Los Angeles, he said, "I like that idea."

SIMON REX REFUSED $70,000 OFFER TO SAY HE SLEPT WITH MEGHAN MARKLE

In a recent interview with The Guardian, Red Rocket actor Simon Rex said several U.K. tabloids offered him $70,000 to say he was intimate with Meghan Markle while she was still working as an actress.

Rex and Markle both appeared on a 2005 episode of Cuts, but they only ever went to a platonic lunch together.

"I was broke as f—! I really needed the money … But I'll be on food stamps before I do that," he told the publication.

Markle sent him a thank you note for choosing to be honest, which he has framed in his Joshua Tree home. "She said: 'It's nice to know there are still good people,'" Rex told The Guardian.

Two days after her Instagram account mysteriously disappeared, Britney Spears is back on the platform. She disabled the account last week and some fans were concerned as to what happened.

Her first posts back included a movie throwback showing off her Clueless look. She was wearing a velour miniskirt paired with a white crop top with puffy sheer sleeves, clearly inspired by the preppy style of Alicia Silverstone's character.

One curious repost was video of a baby moving around its mom's pregnant belly, with the caption "Mommy … get me out of here."

Ashton Kutcher And Mila Kunis Raise $30 Million For Ukraine

Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis have reached their goal of raising $30 million to help Ukraine amid Russia's Invasion.

The couple expressed their gratitude in a video on Instagram and wrote, "While this is far from a solution for the problem, our collective effort will provide a softer landing for so many people as they forget ahead into their future of uncertainty. Our work is not done, which is why we are raising the goal to $40 million."

Earlier this month, they pledged to match up to $3 million worth of donations to Airbnb.org and Flexport.org through GoFundMe.org in an effort to raise $30 million for the refugees fleeing Ukraine.

Arnold Schwarzenegger addressed the Russian people in a Twitter video about Vladimir Putin's "illegal war" on Thursday (March 13th).

The former California governor said, "I know that your government has told you that this is a war to denazify Ukraine. Denazify Ukraine? This is not true. Ukraine is a country with a Jewish president, a Jewish president I might add whose father's three brothers were all murdered by the Nazis. You see, Ukraine did not start this war. Wendy Williams Breaks Her Silence On Her Health

During an interview with Good Morning America, Wendy Williams gave an update on her health. Wendy is back in New York but she wasn't able to go on camera for the conversation. She said, "Health is very well. And I've actually had a few appointments. You know, I'm 57 but now. And I've got the mind and body of a 25-year-old."

She also spoke on her battle with Wells Fargo. As previously reported, Wendy's financial adviser Lori Schiller made an allegation that Wendy was "of unsound mind" and the bank requested a conservatorship because it believes Wendy is the victim of undue influence and financial exploitation." The host has denied this allegation.

She said, "Well, you know, when people want control of their accounts, they say anything including something crazy like that about me."

Jussie Smollett To Be Released From Jail, Pending Appeal

An appeals court ordered former Empire actor Jussie Smollett be released from the Cook County Jail on Wednesday (March 16th). He was just seven days into his 150-day sentence for allegedly faking a hate crime.

The justices ruled 2-1 pending the appeal of his conviction and on the basis that he posts $150,000 bond. The justices did not explain their decision.

Smollett's attorney, Nenye Uche, argued that Smollett was subject to threats and could face harm while imprisoned.

After he was originally sentenced, Smollett said, "I am not suicidal. And if anything happens to me when I go in there, I did not do it to myself. And you must all know that."

Kim Kardashian Reveals That Her Name Is 'Branded' On Pete Davidson's Chest

Fans thought they spotted Kim Kardashian's name tattooed on Pete Davidson recently, but it turns out there's more to the story. Kardashian told Ellen DeGeneres on Wednesday (March 16th) that her name is actually "branded" on his chest.

"It isn't a tattoo, it's actually a branding," she said, revealing that her name was in fact burned into her boyfriend's skin. Norman Reedus Suffers Concussion On The Set Of The Walking Dead

Jeffrey Chassen, publicist to Norman Reedus, confirmed on Wednesday (March 16th) that "Norman suffered a concussion," on the set of The Walking Dead.

"He is recovering well and will return to work soon. Thank you to everyone for their concern," Chassen said.

What caused the concussion remains unknown, but a source told Page Six that it happened on March 11th while they were filming in Georgia.

Reedus posted to Instagram the day that the incident occurred, promoting his new book The Ravaged. He has not been active on social media since.

Samuel L. Jackson Says He Was 'Like The Troll In The Basement' While Battling Addiction

Samuel L. Jackson and his wife, LaTanya Richardson Jackson, opened up to People recently about the Pulp Fiction actor's struggle with addiction.

Samuel said, "I had basically moved into the basement of our brownstone … I was like the troll in the basement, and every now and then I'd come upstairs and hover around to do something. I was addicted and being crazy."

LaTanya insisted that he go to rehab and even made calls for him. "She didn't have to try to fix me … She could've just said, 'Get out,' and left me into the world, let me go and be whatever I was going to be," Samuel said.

LaTanya added that she felt compelled to help him. "I couldn't do that because I felt as though God had spoken to me and said, 'Now, you can't leave this young man like this. Give him some help. And then, if you feel like leaving afterwards, we'll talk about it,'" she said.

These days, the couple is still going strong. Together they are producing the Apple TV+ series The Last Days of Ptolemy Grey, starring Samuel as a man with Alzheimer's.

"It was important for us to tell this story and show that there's a life inside these people that needs to be explored," he said.

Despite being married to Saturday Night Live comedian Colin Jost and sharing seven-month-old baby Cosmo with him, Scarlett Johansson said she wouldn't have dated Jost in high school.

On The Drew Barrymore Show Wednesday (March 16th), Barrymore showed the audience an old picture of Jost from his teenage years. "Would high school ScarJo be into high school Colin?" she asked the Black Widow actress.

"Umm, I don't think so, no. Personally, my brother had that same haircut, both of my brothers, and I just can't. There's no way. I mean, who decided on that cut as a stylish thing? What hairdresser was like, 'I'll try this'?" Johansson said.

The Avengers star also commented on how timing played a role in their relationship, since Johansson had met Jost a few times on the set of SNL before they got together.

"It was just the timing was good. When we met, the timing was right. He's a very -- I think -- a cute guy, but the other times that I was there, I was in a relationship and I was not looking. This time, it was the timing was right. He looked differently to me because I was available," she said.

SERVANT OF THE PEOPLE RETURNS TO NETFLIX: According to The Hollywood Reporter, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's Servant of the People has returned to Netflix. The show was originally part of the Netflix library from 2017-2021, and it features Zelensky as a teacher who unexpectedly becomes president after one of his rants goes viral. The show ran for three seasons and ended when Zelensky decided to run for president of the Ukraine in 2019.
