Wendy Williams Files Affidavit With New York Supreme Court To Unfreeze Accounts

After Wells Fargo froze her accounts and claimed that she needed a guardianship, Wendy Williams filed an affidavit with the New York Supreme Court to support her attorney Celeste N. McCaw's request for a temporary restraining order against the bank. In the affidavit, Williams calls the Wells Fargo advisor who expressed concern about her mental health a "disgruntled" former employee, who she terminated "as a result of her improper conduct in relation to my accounts."

In court documents obtained exclusively by Page Six, Williams wrote, "For more than two weeks, Wells Fargo has repeatedly denied my requests to access my financial assets, which total over several million dollars. I have submitted multiple written requests to Wells Fargo and I have visited various Wells Fargo branches in the South Florida area in an effort to resolve this matter outside of the courtroom."

The decision to freeze Williams's accounts came after Wells Fargo advisor, Lori Schiller, alleged Williams was "of unsound mind." David H. Pikus, the bank's attorney, said Wells Fargo "has strong reason to believe" that Williams is a "victim of undue influence and financial exploitation" and that there are "independent third parties who … share these concerns."

Alec Baldwin Says Returning To Acting Is 'Strange'

On Monday (February 7th), Alec Baldwin posted a video diary to Instagram from the UK set of 97 Minutes, a low-budget thriller.

"It's strange to go back to work," the 30 Rock actor said. "I haven't worked since Oct. 21 of last year when this horrible thing happened on the set of this film and we had the accidental death of our cinematographer, Halyna Hutchins."

"I even still find that hard to say," Baldwin said of the fatal Rust shooting. "But I went back to work today for the first time in three and a half months."

Baldwin then grumbled a little about low-budget films. "When you have a very limited budget, you're filling positions with people who are … who are good, but they are probably early in their career. And young. Everybody's young," he said.

"But I went back to work today — it was interesting. Interesting. I miss my kids … I miss them all."

Will Arnett Says He Cried On The Side Of The Road Following Divorce From Amy Poehler

BoJack Horseman actor Will Arnett is opening up about his divorce with Parks and Recreation star Amy Poehler.

Arnett and Poehler got married in 2003, but the couple split in 2012, after nine years of marriage. Arnett was filming the fourth season of Arrested Development at the time of their breakup.

In a recent interview with The Guardian, Arnett said that returning to the set of the sitcom was "excruciating" at the time because of the divorce.

"Just brutal, brutal, brutal. I was driving to the set one day and I pulled over to the side of the road and cried for an hour," he said. He added that Arrested Development creator Mitch Hurwitz helped him turn his pain into something "hilarious and cathartic" for the show.

Now, Arnett seems to be doing better. "It's been almost 10 years and my kids are so lucky that Amy is their mother. And I'm so lucky that we're such a huge part of each other's lives, even more so than we were five years ago," he said.

NBC Welcomes Leslie Jones's Commentary On The Olympics

Fans were sad to hear that Ghost Busters star Leslie Jones might not continue live recapping the Olympics in years to come. On Monday (February 7th), Jones posted to Instagram saying that this year might be the last year she comments on the sporting event, since her videos were being blocked by NBC.

"Leslie Jones does not stay anywhere I'm not welcomed," the former Saturday Night Live comedian wrote.

"They block my videos and they get folks who think they can do it like me. And I'm tired of fighting them. I love the athletes and they love me doing it. And I know y'all love it. But now it's just gotten too hard. And no one is fighting for or with me. Soooo I guess I'll leave it to the professionals. But thank you for all the love," Jones said of NBC.

On Tuesday (February 8th), NBC commented, "This was the result of a third-party error, and the situation has been resolved. She is free to do her social media posts as she has done in the past. She is a super fan of the Olympics, and we are super fans of her."
