Jackass Forever producers leaned on TikTok to promote the new comedy, and they saw the fruits of their labor at the weekend box office. The film pulled in $23.5 million, while Moonfall struggled to keep up, earning a mere $10 million. As for the film that's been at the top of the charts for weeks, according to Deadline, Spider-Man: No Way Home is just $11.55 million away from beating out Avatar for the No. 3 spot on the list of highest-grossing films at the domestic box office.

DWAYNE "THE ROCK" JOHNSON SEEMINGLY CHANGES HIS STANCE ON JOE ROGAN: Deadline reports that, after Joe Rogan's repeated use of the N-word was exposed by singer India Arie on Friday (February 4th), Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson seemingly adjusted his stance on the podcaster. While Johnson previously commented in support of Rogan, the Jungle Cruise star responded to Don Winslow on Twitter Friday (February 4th), saying, "I was not aware of his N-word use before my comments, but now I've become educated to his complete narrative. Learning moment for me."

CHELSEA HANDLER CANCELS SHOWS DUE TO HOSPITALIZATION: People reports that Chelsea Handler had to cancel three shows in Oregon on her Vaccinated & Horny comedy tour after she was hospitalized on Friday (February 4th). She addressed fans from her hospital bed, saying, "I am so sorry I had to cancel my shows tonight in Portland and my show in Eugene. I had a scare at the hospital, and I don't have COVID, and I'm okay, but I had to reschedule my shows." She added, "But I'm all OK. And I'm not pregnant."

SUSAN SARANDON APOLOGIZES FOR CONTROVERSIAL TWEET THAT FEATURED NYPD OFFICER'S FUNERAL: On Friday (February 4th), Susan Sarandon issued an apology on Twitter for sharing a meme that included a photo of Officer Jason Rivera's funeral. "I deeply regret the meme I recently shared on Twitter that included a photo of Officer Jason Rivera's funeral. I reacted quickly to the picture without connecting it to a police funeral and I realize now how insensitive and deeply disrespectful it was to make that point at that time. I sincerely apologize to the family of Officers Rivera and Wilbert Mora for causing additional pain during their time of grieving." The post in question was originally shared by journalist Danny Haiphong, and it featured a photo of thousands of police officers marching down 5th Avenue in Manhattan to honor Rivera's death. Haiphong captioned the post, "I'm gonna tell my kids this is what fascism looks like."

JULIA FOX WANTS KANYE "YE" WEST AND KIM KARDASHIAN TO "RESOLVE THEIR ISSUES": Following all the drama that unfolded over the weekend between Kim Kardashian and Kanye "Ye" West, rumors sprang up that West and Julia Fox had broken up. Apparently, Fox had deleted a bunch of photos of West and unfollowed a Kardashian fan account on Instagram. The Uncut Gems star explained on her Instagram stories Sunday (February 6th), that the rumors weren't true, and that she just didn't want to deal with all the comments. "Suddenly Instagram was not a fun place anymore," she said. Page Six reported on Saturday (February 5th) that Fox "understands that divorces are messy" and that she just wants to see Kardashian and West "resolve their issues."

JULIAN FOWLES DIES AT 76: Deadline reports that longtime film and television producer Julian Fowles died on Saturday (February 5th) at the age of 76. Fowles produced Eleanor: In Her Own Words, which won a Los Angeles Area Emmy and was part of the PBS American Playhouse Series. He also won a Primetime Emmy for his work on Mark Twain and Me. After leaving KCET for Esparza/Katz Productions, Fowles produced films such as Selma, Lord, The Sweetest Gift, and Captive. He is survived by his wife, Gallena Fowles.

PRODUCTION FOR THAT ‘90S SHOW BEGINS: TV Line reports that just days after the cast was revealed for That ‘90s Show, a That ‘70s Show spinoff, Debra Jo Rupp (Kitty) and Kurtwood Smith (Red) took to social media to share photos from the set. "And we have started," Rupp wrote, alongside a photo of her script and name plate. Smith took to Twitter writing, "Red and Kitty, teenagers, grunge rock… let's gooooo!"

ROSAMUND PIKE TO PLAY LEAD IN RICH FLU: According to The Hollywood Reporter, Oscar nominee Rosamund Pike is set to star in Rich Flu, a thriller about a deadly virus that attacks the wealthy. Director Galder Gaztelu-Urrutia said the film is "an immense physical saga, full of twists, obstacles, and surprises. But, above all, it is a complex and provocative emotional journey to the depths of the human soul and the pinnacles of our glorious self-indulgence."

THE POWER OF THE DOG NAMED BEST FILM BY LONDON CRITICS' CIRCLE: According to The Hollywood Reporter, Jane Campion's The Power of the Dog was chosen for film of the year at the London Critics' Circle Film Awards. In addition to this title, The Power of the Dog won director of the year, actor of the year, and supporting actor of the year.

Anna Kendrick is being sued in federal court by a photographer who claims she ripped off his work.

According to court documents obtained by Radar, Ulices Ramales is suing the Pitch Perfect star for posting images he shot of her walking in New York City to her Instagram account without any credit or paying a licensing fee.

The suit is seeking at least $150k in damages plus an injunction prohibiting the actress from using any more of his photos. The outlet reports that the image at the center of the suit is still on Kendrick's Instagram page.

Rebel Wilson has obtained a temporary restraining order against a 39-year-old man who falsely believes they have a son together.

According to legal documents obtained by TMZ, the alleged stalker has been harassing the Pitch Perfect star for months. She claims the guy found her Los Angeles home and dropped off a handwritten notes and strange gifts for their fictional 20-year-old son. He also described in writing how they met at a club in 2001, something Wilson says is a complete lie.

A judge has ruled that the man must stay 100 yards away from the actress and not make any attempt to contact her.

Khloe Kardashian shut down rumors that she is dating Too Hot to Handle alum Harry Jowsey on Thursday (Feb. 3rd).

The 37-year-old Good American co-founder wrote, "ASOLUTELY NOT TRUE," in an Instagram comment beneath a post from @thekarjenners speculating about their romance.

The post read, "One of my closest friends works at a very well PR agency in LA & it's confirmed that Khloe Kardashian and harry Jowsey are talking. Apparently they've been DM-ing back and forth & texting & then last night he picked up a Bentley and flowers just to deliver them to her house."

Steve-O recently revealed to GQ that he started doing stunts as a way to worry his ex-girlfriend.

The Jackass star told the outlet that he got dumped while attending the University of Miami and added, "I was so heartbroken and I wanted her to be worried about me. The stunts were initially an exercise in trying to make that girl worried that I was going to die."

When people finally saw the footage of his stunts, he says "it had an impact upon them," prompting him to realize that "videotaping crazy assh*** s**t with a video camera" was going to be his career.

The former Beverly Hills 90210 star told E! News, "I got them when I was really young. And I didn't know that at a certain point they would have an expiration. I didn't know that you would have to do it again." When her daughter pushed her to stop procrastinating, she decided that "scheduling that surgery, getting healthy – that is taking the forefront." According to Page Six, the 40-year-old actress and the 25-year-old actor appeared to be enjoying a date night at the New York Knicks vs. Memphis Grizzlies game at Madison Square Garden in New York. The outing comes just days after Page Six reported that Miller was seen "making out" with her close friend Delevingne, 29, at Temple Bar in New York City last Friday (Jan. 28th).

'SCREAM' SEQUEL GREENLIT: Deadline reports that the Scream franchise will continue to grow. Following the box office success of the latest installment, Spyglass Media Group and Paramount Pictures have given the green light to move forward with another sequel.

DAKOTA JOHNSON IN TALKS FOR 'MADAME WEB': According to E! News, Dakota Johnson is in talks to play the main character in Madame Web. The Hollywood Reporter writes that S.J. Clarkson, who has worked on Jessica Jones, is set to direct the film for Sony..

'SUPERNATURAL' SPINOFF IN THE WORKS: A Supernatural spinoff has been greenlit by The CW. TVLine reports that the prequel, executive produced by original series star Jensen Ackles, will center around Dean and Sam Winchester's parents. It will be told from the perspective of their eldest son Dean, with Ackles narrating.

'YELLOWSTONE' RENEWED FOR SEASON 5: Paramount Network announced Thursday (Feb. 3rd) that Yellowstone will return for a fifth season. Additionally, guest stars Jen Landon (Teeter) and Kathryn Kelly (Emily) have been promoted to series regulars. The drama will set to begin production in May.

LESLIE JORDAN AND TRACEE ELLIS ROSS TO ANNOUNCE OSCAR NOMINATIONS: The Academy announced Thursday (Feb. 3rd) that Leslie Jordan and Tracee Ellis Ross will host the announcement of the 94th Oscars nominations on Tuesday, February 8th at 8:18a.m. ET. The Academy Awards will be held on Sunday, March 27th at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood and will be televised live on ABC.

Authorities announced Wednesday (Feb. 2nd) that four men who allegedly sold Michael K. Williams the fentanyl-laced heroin on which he fatally overdosed have been arrested.

The court papers obtained by The Hollywood Reporter show photographs, including one in which defendant Irvin Cartanega can be seen executing a hand-to-hand transaction with the actor on Sept. 5th.

New York City's medical examiner earlier ruled that the 54-year-old star of The Wire died of acute drug intoxication on Sept. 6th.

A man has been arrested for "actively threatening" Real Housewives of Orange County alum Elizabeth Vargas inside her home.

The Newport Beach, California Police Department confirmed to People Wednesday (Feb. 2nd) that Ryan Matthew Geraghty was arrested and charged with assault with a deadly weapon, burglary and extortion.

The night prior, there was a SWAT standoff with the suspect after he barricaded himself inside of the RHOC star's home.

Pamela Anderson is reportedly struggling with the release of Hulu's new series, Pam & Tommy.

A source told People that there's a sense that the series, which centers on the release of a stolen sex tape featuring Anderson and Tommy Lee, is "re-exploiting Pamela."

The insider added, "After the tape was made public, it was a very traumatizing situation and it's unfair that she is being re-subjected to this trauma, like re-opening a wound."

The first three episodes of Pam & Tommy were released on Hulu on Wednesday (Feb. 2nd).

Earlier this month, series star Lily James revealed in a cover story for Net-a-Porter's Porter that she reached out to Anderson ahead of shooting the series in hopes of having her involved in the project. However, she didn't get a response.

Leah Remini is opening up to People about how leaving Scientology affected her family.

The King of Queens star tells the magazine in this weeks issue, out Friday (Feb. 4th), that her 17-year-old daughter Sofia, "wouldn't be the strong-minded kid she is now, who hopefully is going to make some positive changes in the world."

The teen is heading off to college in the fall, most likely on the East Coast, and actress says that seeing her daughter thrive made leaving the controversial religious group worth it.

CHANNING TATUM SHARES ADVICE HE GAVE ZOE KRAVITZ: Channing Tatum revealed to Variety Wednesday (Feb. 2nd) that he advised his girlfriend, Zoe Kravitz, against acting in her directorial debut. The actress directs the upcoming thriller Pussy Island, which stars Tatum, who also produces. JUDGES WALK OUT AFTER 'MASKED SINGER' REVEAL: Spoiler Alert: Deadline is reporting that Ken Jeong and Robin Thicke walked off the set of The Masked Singer when Rudy Guiliani was unmasked as an exiting contestant. According to the outlet, the former NYC mayor got the boot during last week's taping of the first Season 7 episode of the Fox reality show. The Masked Singer also faced criticism then when Republican politician, Sarah Palin, was unveiled as The Bear.

JOSEPH GORDON-LEVITT AND CHLOE GRAZE MORETZ SET TO STAR IN JIM JONES SERIES: Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Chloë Grace Moretz are set to star in White Night, an upcoming film about cult leader Jim Jones and the People's Temple. Consequence reports that Gordon-Levitt will play Jones, while Mortez will portray Deborah Layton, one of Jones' former disciples who defected.

STARS GIVES FIRST GLIMPSE OF 'GASLIT': STARZ gave critics their first look at Gaslit during the TCA Winter 2022 Press Tour Wednesday (Feb. 2nd). The Watergate drama, stars Sean Penn as Richard Nixon's Attorney General, John Mitchell and Julia Roberts as his wife, Martha Mitchell. The series is set to premiere Sunday, April 24th across all STARZ platforms.

UBER EATS TEASES COMMERCIAL WITH GWYNETH PALTROW: Uber Eats released a teaser trailer for their Super Bowl commercial featuring Gwyneth Paltrow. In the clip, the Iron Man star can be seen taking a bite out of her famous, "This Smells Like My Vagina" candle. The actress can be heard saying, "This candle tastes funny, not bad, but funny." The full ad is set to feature Jennifer Coolidge and Trevor Noah as well.

ALEC BALDWIN TO APPEAR AT FILM FEST: Alec Baldwin will make a rare public appearance at the Boulder International Film Festival in March. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the actor agreed to attend the event's 18th edition, which will run from March 3-6, as its first-ever "special guest programmer."

Whoopi Goldberg has been suspended from The View for two weeks following her controversial remarks about the Holocaust.

ABC News president Kim Godwin said in a statement Tuesday (Feb. 1st) evening. "While Whoopi has apologized, I've asked her to take time to reflect and learn about the impact of her comments."

Goldberg tried to explain her comments on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert Monday (January 31st), after issuing an apology on Twitter, but some say it seemed like she was doubling down on her previous viewpoints during this appearance.

On Tuesday's (February 1st) episode of The View, Goldberg said, "I tweeted about it last night but I kind of want you to hear it from me directly. I feel a responsibility. My words upset so many people, which was never my intention. I understand why. The information I got was really helpful."

She continued, "I said the Holocaust wasn't about race and was instead about man's inhumanity to man. It is indeed about race because Hitler and the Nazis considered Jews to be the inferior race. Words matter and mine are no exception. I regret my comments and I stand corrected."

An ABC insider told Page Six, "ABC staffers and Disney Network execs are saying Whoopi went way too far. And board members are not happy with her apology and want a fuller retraction. The word is that Whoopi is in ‘deep s–t.'"

The source added that, "Many at the network — including her fellow hosts — believe Whoopi is too controversial now for the show," and that this "isn't just going to blow over."

In a People cover story released on Tuesday (February 1st) Jennifer Lopez all but gushed about her relationship with Ben Affleck.

"I've never been better," the Hustlers actress said, and that's not just because her film Marry Me is set to debut on February 11th.

"I feel so lucky and happy and proud to be with him," she said of Affleck while in the "sun-drenched room in her house," as People illustrated, "that's become Affleck's office when he's there." Lopez added, "It's a beautiful love story that we got a second chance."

Lopez and Affleck were together from 2002 to 2004, and the pair recently reconnected last spring. The Selena actress said that there was "a little bit of fear" regarding the media frenzy that surrounded them the first time around.

"We both were like, 'Wow, we're so happy and we don't want any of that to come into play again.' We're older now, we're smarter, we have more experience, we're at different places in our lives, we have kids now, and we have to be very conscious of those things. We're so protective because it is such a beautiful time for all of us."

She continued, "I'm so proud of the man he's become that I've watched from afar. Being honest with each other, being loving, that's just the basis of everything,"

After Joe Rogan posted a video to Instagram Monday (January 31st) regarding the Spotify controversy, stating that he would work on balancing perspectives on his podcast, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson offered him support.

"Great stuff here brother. Perfectly articulated. Look forward to coming on one day and breaking out the tequila with you," the Fast and Furious actor commented.

Other stars joined Johnson in propping up Rogan, including Jewel and Kelly Slater. Former Presidential candidate Marianne Williamson said, "I'm triple vaxxed, but (unless they're standing for hate or calling for violence) banning someone's podcast is too much like burning a book to me. Joe Rogan should talk on his podcast about whatever he damn well pleases."

Others didn't feel as moved. India Arie posted to Instagram Monday (January 31st) that she was removing her music from Spotify alongside Neil Young, Joni Mitchell, and others. She wrote that her criticism of Rogan wasn't just about COVID-19 misinformation, but also "his language around race."

And while Spotify created a disclaimer policy in response to the controversy, Sharon Stone told TMZ the only "disclaimer" she wants from Rogan is that he's an "a**hole."

TARAJI P. HENSON TO PLAY SHUG AVERY IN THE COLOR PURPLE: Variety reports that Emmy and Oscar-nominated actress Taraji P. Henson will play Shug Avery in Blitz Bazawule's adaptation of The Color Purple. The screenplay was written by The Chi's Marcus Gardley, based on the novel by Alice Walker, the 1985 Warner Bros. Pictures film, and the stage musical.

CHRIS NOTH SCRUBBED FROM AND JUST LIKE THAT DOCUMENTARY: Us Weekly reports that Chris Noth will seemingly not be appearing in the upcoming And Just Like That documentary, following multiple sexual assault allegations against him. On Monday (January 31st), HBO shared the And Just Like That …. The Documentary trailer, in which Noth did not appear. He was previously cut from the series finale following the allegations as well.

NETFLIX REVEALS LOVE IS BLIND SEASON TWO CAST: People reports that just ahead of the season two premiere of Love is Blind, Netflix has revealed its cast. Hosted by Vanessa and Nick Lachey, the fan favorite is set to air on February 11th. One of the cast members teases in the announcement video that viewers will be "in for quite a ride."

STAR TREK: STARFLEET ACADEMY IS IN THE WORKS: According to Deadline, a new series in the Star Trek franchise is in development at CBS studios. The name comes from the late 1990s video game, and the series will feature college cadets at the United Federation of Planets space force.
