Finally Friday

All aboard for this week’s Finally Friday deal is to The Tennessee valley Railroad Museum’s Missionary Ridge Local! Imagine as you stand on the platform and the conductor calls the long awaited signal: “All Aboard!” This was a regular occurrence 100 years ago… and it still is today on the Missionary Ridge Local! You’ll begin at Grand Junction depot and ride along one of the original railroad lines into Chattanooga, crossing bridges and through the Missionary Ridge Tunnel, arriving at the other side the museum in East Chattanooga. Step off the train and watch the locomotive rotating on a turntable and tour the railroad restoration shop before re-boarding for the return trip.
