Getting Old Is Tough
My 86-year-old father fell in his assisted-living apartment last week but was able to call for the staff, and was helped immediately. Dad was taken to the emergency room but luckily there were no broken bones. It must be tough getting old – everything hurts, walking isn’t as easy as it used to be, even flipping through the remote control to find a basketball game can be confusing! I’m grateful to each of you who has chosen Elderly Care as your life’s work. It really DOES matter to those you are looking after, and it matters to their families as well.. You help your elderly patients get dressed, help them take their medicines on time, and you probably even help them figure out their remote control ! Thank you for what you do for people like my Dad.. I appreciate you! Patti Sanders @PattiSanders923 psanders@wdefradio.com
