News From My Kitchen

My husband and I have been cooking together a lot lately, and we are pretty proud of the results! We’ve been on a chocolate kick, so we made brownies this week, fudge too. But also deviled eggs, salmon with teriyaki sauce, and we’re experimenting with garlic french fries. And who doesn’t love a crockpot! This weekend I’ll be trying a recipe a friend of mine gave me for Crockpot Meatballs. A bag of frozen meatballs, an 18-ounce jar of grape jelly (yes, grape jelly!), and an 18-ounce bottle of barbecue sauce – any brand will do. Mix together, put on low in the crockpot for 8 hours, and it’s the best thing ever…super simple AND yummy.
