Remember Our Veterans All Year

I just had a call from a Sunny 92.3 listener who shared a wonderful story with me. She was driving in the Chattanooga area and passed a veteran who was walking to a doctor’s appointment (walking because he doesn’t have a vehicle). She turned around, talked to the veteran, and gave him a ride to his doctor’s appointment. She must have waited for his doctor’s appointment to be over because she said she then took him for a warm meal, gave him a few dollars, and gave him a hug.  To that veteran I say thank you for your service, sir!
