RIP Billy Graham

We were so saddened to learn of the passing of Rev. Billy Graham at 99 this morning. Our hearts and prayers go out to his family. What a life well lived that touched so many!

Have you read or seen “Unbroken”? The book tells the fuller story of the phenomenal life of Louis Zamperini’s survival in a POW camp in Japan, harrowing weeks on a life boat after crashing into the Pacific, and life as an evangelist on return — a life that would not have happened without Billy Graham. It’s impossible to grasp how many lives “America’s Pastor” transformed from presidents to families listening to him on the radio, in person or in his newspaper columns, one of which ran in last Saturday’s Times Free Press.

He never gave up his calling. May his tributes in the coming days continue to inspire and transform hearts and minds.
