Spirit & Ef!
Please, please please adopt Ef and give him a new name that matches his sweet nature! And Spirit is going to raise your spirits the second you meet her. Go visit them both at the Humane Educational Society and give them a forever home!
Spirit
This week’s Wet Nose Wednesday dog is a sweet 8-year-old Hound/Catahoula Leopard Dog named Spirit. When she came to the shelter she was thin and looked like she could use some TLC, but she was so wiggly, outgoing, and lively that we thought Spirit was the perfect name for her. Spirit is a happy-go-lucky girl who loves every person and dog she meets. She always has a big smile and is excited to give anyone and everyone sloppy kisses. Spirit likes to go for walks but also enjoys lounging around and getting plenty of affection. She has a quiet demeanor and is very gentle. This precious girl would make a perfect pet for any family, so please come say hello to her today at the Humane Educational Society!
Ef
Our Wet Nose Wednesday cat is just as unique as his name is (and we have NO idea where that name came from)! Ef is his name, but we are hoping someone will adopt him soon and give him a name more suitable for a cat as cool as he is. This 2.5-year-old DSH gray and black tabby can be a bit nervous and shy in new situations, but he has become more confident and outgoing since he’s been here. He may still take a minute to warm up to you, but we will tell you a little secret to win his heart. Just give him some really tasty treats and you’ll soon have him (literally) eating from your hand. After that, just give him a good bum scratching and he’s your new best friend. Ef also seems to do fine with other cats, but he needs to be introduced to them slowly. Come adopt him today from the Humane Educational Society. He’ll be so pleased to meet you!
