Thelma & Selma!
Check out these cuties below and then meet them at the Humane Educational Society!
This Wet Nose Wednesday we would like to highlight one of our sweet senior dogs. Thelma is about 8 years old and is a petite (33 pounds) terrier mix. Thelma came to the shelter as a stray, so we don’t know her history or what her life was like before. She does look like she had a rough beginning, but we would like to find her a special “retirement” home where she can grow old and be loved. Thelma enjoys being with people and going for leisurely walks. One thing she isn’t so keen on is other dogs, so she would probably do best in a home where she can be the center of attention and the only pet. If you have room in your heart to help give an old girl a loving forever home, please come adopt Thelma today at the Humane Educational Society.
This cutie patootie with vibrant green eyes is Selma, our Wet Nose Wednesday kitty. Perhaps one of the cutest things about Selma are the little tufts of hair that stick out of her ears. What could be more adorable than that?! Selma usually has a serious look on her face, but don’t let that fool you. This one-year-old tabby is a curious kitty who loves to check out all her surroundings. She’s a friendly gal and enjoys meeting new people and making friends. Selma has several feline pals at the shelter, so she might just like to have some cat siblings at home to keep her company. If you’re looking to add a new member to your cat pack, Selma might be the perfect fit. Come meet her today at the Humane Educational Society.
