/- The first-ever Renaissance Fair in Chattanooga is May 30th in Coolidge Park. The hours will be from 10am until 8pm that day, and is free of charge. Live music, stage performances, costume contests, a kids area, and much more will be part of the experience. The first-ever Chattanooga Renaissance Fair, May 30th on the North Shore.

/- If you see a pot hole that is so large it could cause damage to vehicles, let 3-1-1 know about it. Call 311 or download the CHA311 app, let them know the exact location, and even include a picture if you can safely take one.

/Expect a few road closures as thousands come to Chattanooga this Sunday the 17th for The Half-Ironman.. The athletes will swim 1.4 miles in the Tennessee River, bike 56.7 miles through North Georgia, then run 13.1 miles, ending up back at Ross’ Landing. Registration is sold out but volunteers are needed. Visit Ironman.com and search “volunteer”.

/- McKamey Animal Center says thank you; 232 animals were adopted in April, and now it’s kitten and puppy season. The Shelter needs kitten formula, clean blankets, sheets, towels, and dog food. Find out more on their website, McKameyAnimalCenter.org

/- “Spirits In The Wild” is a big fund raiser for the Chattanooga Zoo, and it’s this Saturday night the 16th at 6pm.. It’s 21-and-over, and will feature creative cocktails, light bites, live music, and you can tour the zoo after hours. It’s this Saturday night and often sells out. Visit ChattZoo.org

/- Chattanooga is hosting middle school / high school / and collegiate young athletes, for state and national championships, through the month of May, in many locations. Softball, baseball, and tennis competitions will bring thousands to Warner Park, Lee University, Frost Stadium and other fields. Welcome to the athletes, coaches, and spectators!
