/- The Walnut Street Bridge is set to re-open on Saturday October 3rd. Join the celebration with a walk across the bridge, live entertainment, and family fun. It’s free, October 3rd from noon until 3:00, on the bridge.
/- “Outside Magazine” has named Chattanooga as one of the top 5 cities in America, for the best trails, and there are plenty to choose from. We are the only city in the South to make the list, and our Riverfront is also mentioned in our ranking.
/- “Southern Living” has listed Chattanooga as the 9th “Most Picturesque Mountain Town To Visit This Fall”.
/- The Fall Plant Sale at Crabtree Farms is set for Sept. 25th through the 27th, at their location – 1000 East 30th Street. Their Annual Pollinators Festival will also take place that weekend. It’s all free to attend.
/- The 2nd annual Chattanooga Jazz Fest is coming to the Choo Choo, on Sunday Oct. 25th. Ten local and regional bands will perform jazz and blues, there will be family activities, and it’s all free. October 25th at the Choo Choo.
/- The Annual Tennessee Aquarium Auction continues through this Tuesday, Sept. 22nd. Bid online for art that has literally been created by some of the animals. Also behind-the-scenes experiences, stay-cations, the chance to name the 2 newest little penguin chicks, and much more. Through Tuesday morning, at TNaqua.org
/- Ketner’s Mill is October 3rd and 4th in Whitwell; Prater’s Mill is October 10th and 11th in Dalton. The Hamilton County Fair is Nov. 6-8 in Sale Creek.
