Wet Nose Wednesday

Echo is the kind of dog who reminds us that sometimes the most special dogs need a little more time to find their people. Echo is extremely shy around humans, but put him around other dogs and you’ll see a completely different side of him! Other dogs help him
feel safe and confident, and he loves being playful and silly when he’s comfortable. For that reason, Echo needs to be adopted into a multi-dog home where he can have canine companions to help him feel secure. He needs someone who understands that his fear
is a response to his past, not a reflection of his sweet personality. His ideal adopter will be an experienced, patient dog owner who is willing to let Echo set the pace and celebrate the small victories along the way. He has so much to offer in his own wonderfully
quirky way. Echo has discovered in his foster home that he does actually like to be pet, and though he might not every be “snuggly,” he deserves a home where he can feel safe, loved, understood, and free to be himself, while having his needs met.

Sleet 188683
Sleet is a 4-month-old kitten that came to HES with his siblings when they were just a few weeks old. He’s now the last of his litter to find his forever home. Sleet is a little on the shy side when he first meets people, but give him a couple gentle chin scritches
and he’ll melt under your touch. Sleet is still just a baby, so that playful kitten side is lurking just under the surface of that timid exterior. He enjoyed playing with his siblings while they were all in foster care, and may enjoy having another feline
friend in his forever home to show him the ropes. Sleet is more than ready to find his forever family! Come meet him at HES!
