     /- Tennessee’s top girls high school soccer teams will be in Chattanooga, the 27th through the 30th, for the TSSAA Girls Soccer State Championships. Lots of their coaches and fans will be in town too. Qualifying rounds will be held at Baylor, Boyd Buchanan, and Howard, then the championship rounds will be at Finley Stadium. That’s Tuesday through Friday, the 27th through the 30th.

   /-  Tennessee’s newest State Park at McDonald Farm will be called “Angel’s Hollow”..  The new park will be dedicated on November 6th, which is the first day of the Hamilton County Fair, AT McDonald Farm..

  /-  “Area Development Magazine” has put Tennessee as #3 on their list of the best states to do business in.  Texas is #2 and Georgia is #1 on that list. They say the Top 3 states have the talent, the jobs, and the positive economic activity to be in the Top 3.

   /-  The Chattanooga Fire Department says it’s time to “Fill The Boot”, for Muscular Dystrophy.. Firefighters will be on street corners, collecting your change, the 29th, 30th, and 31st of this month. Look for them on Brainerd Road, Gunbarrel, Hixson Pike, Bonny Oaks, Cherokee Boulevard, and other areas, the last few days of this month. For Muscular Dystrophy.
