Cal is a friendly and easygoing pittie mix that has captured the hearts of staff and volunteers at HES. Described as an “underrated” catch, and an overlooked good boy, Cal is social, sweet, and an absolute pleasure to spend time with. He’s also a smart boy
who knows some commands, pays close attention to his person, and genuinely wants to do the right thing. While he can be playful, Cal seems to enjoy a more peaceful existence. He would do best in a home with teenage kiddos and up. He would be content as the
only dog in the home, but we would also be willing to do a meet and greet between your dog and Cal if you have another pup and are interested in adopting!

Misty is what you would call a “cat’s cat.” This 2-year-old tabby wants to be your cat’s friend! In her foster home, she was so into playing and laying with the resident cat more than anyone else. She settles into her favorite spots when the vibe is chill.
As far as people are concerned, she is interested, will totally accept pets, and she’s content with just knowing there are humans to take care of her. If your current cat needs a bestie, Misty just might be the answer. Come meet her at HES!
