Jennifer Lopez Says Her Teenage Twins Prefer Her Older Music

Jennifer Lopez told Variety in a new interview that she was playing her 2002 album, This Is Me…Then, in the house recently when she noticed her 15-year-old twins Max and Emme listening.

“They said, ‘Is this you, Mommy?'” Lopez says. “I’m like, “Yeah, this is an album I did 18 years ago.’ I played them another song and asked them if they liked it, and they said yes, and I said, ‘I wrote this.’ And then they’re like, ‘Yeah, we like this more than the music you make now,’ ” she laughed. “Ouch. But a good ouch.”

Lopez is about to release her follow-up to that album, This Is Me…Now, and told Entertainment Tonight that it might be her last album ever. “Don’t tell Benny Medina, her longtime manager that that’s what I’m thinking — this might be my last album ever,” she said.
