Livestream Video Portal Temporarily Turned Off

A “livestream portal” connecting Dublin and New York City has been temporarily turned off after multiple reports of inappropriate behavior. While most people have been using the livestream in fun ways…like reconnecting with loved ones and dancing…others are using the portal to display their naked rear-ends, show adult content, and even mock the events of 9/11. The livestream opened on May 8th as part of a public art installation meant to connect the two cities. It closed Monday and reopened once “technical changes” were made to curb unwanted behavior.
