Canadian Dinosaurs Meet But Can’t Get Organized

On April 27th, a group of dino fans dressed as T-Rexes gathered in Drumheller, Canada to attempt to break a Guinness World Record. Unfortunately, the crew couldn’t get organized enough to comply with the rules. While 3,000 people in dino gear were counted, they were unable to stay in one place for a full minute, which is a record requirement. The current record for most people dressed as dinosaurs in one place is currently held in Los Angeles, where 252 people in costume gathered in 2019. While the Canadian attempt had more than enough T-Rexes to break the record, the attempt was disqualified. But the town hasn’t given up. “When we go for the Guinness World Record next time, it’s going to be a lot different,” Keri Looijen said. “We’re going to have other processes in place to really help and we’re going to prepare.” (UPI)
