We affectionately call this boy “Dorko,” as he reminds us of a junior high-schooler who’s just trying to figure things out here at the shelter. He is a handsome and smart fellow and has already mastered “Sit”, “Shake”, and “Down.” He’s very treat motivated
and eager to please, which helps with training. He loves to play with toys: fetching, leaning on you with the ball or squeaky, bouncing around the yard with you – toys are fun, but he wants to make sure you’re enjoying the games as much as he is! Darko has
made some canine friends here and is ready to widen his circle of buddies. If you’re ready for a smart, handsome, and fun guy, Darko might be the one for you!

April was brought to HES with her 4 newborn kittens. She was a great mother, and raised her babies well. All her youngsters grew big and healthy, and were all eventually adopted into loving forever homes! Now spayed and never having to worry about raising anymore
kittens, young April is looking to find HER own forever family! Sweet as can be, April is very affectionate and loves to be pet. She enjoys naps in high places, and being only 1-year-old, she’s still pretty adventurous and playful. April seems like she’d be
comfortable in any type of home environment, and she’ll make a great companion for a lucky person or family!
