Woman Arrested for Damaging Ex’s Car By Pouring Salt Into Engine & Glitter Into AC Vent

A Kentucky woman stands accused of extensively damaging her ex-boyfriend’s car after an argument last month. According to police, Stephanie Carlquist is alleged to have poured salt into the vehicle’s engine, thrown glitter into the AC vents, slashed a tire, broken the radio screen, and cracked both the windshield and rearview mirror. The estimated cost of the repairs is $12,464.96, which the victim claims Carlquist admitted to after the car was towed to a local Goodyear. Carlquist reportedly messaged her ex on Instagram to apologize, stating she was stressed due to her pregnancy. Despite partially confessing to the vandalism, Carlquist appears cheerful in her mugshot. She has been charged with felony criminal mischief and is being held on a $12,000 bond. (Complex)
