Alicia Silverstone opened up about her unusual parenting practices on a recent episode of The Ellen Fisher Podcast. The Clueless star shared that she and her 11-year-old son, Bear, still sleep together at night.

"Bear and I still sleep together," Silverstone said. "I'll be in trouble for saying that, but I really don't care."

The Crush actress explained that her parenting style is "following nature."

"If you were in any kind of wild setting where there are animals, if you put your baby over there," Silverstone said, pointing across the room, "your baby is going to get eaten. It's not ideal for the baby to be over there."

Jane Fonda thinks people should embrace aging, and she can list the reasons why. The Grace and Frankie star told Entertainment Tonight recently, "I know this sounds strange, but it's great to get older. I mean, obviously it beats the alternative, which is to die."

Fonda continued, "It's so hard to be young. I mean, it's always been hard to be young -- it's even more hard now... It's all like, 'Who am I supposed to be? What am I supposed to do? What kind of a job am I supposed to have? Where am I supposed to go with my life? Why am I even here? Who should be my friends?'"

The 84-year-old also thinks the sex gets better with age. "Women, I think tend to get better because they lose their fear of saying what they need. You know, we go through, we waste way too much time not wanting to say, ‘Wait a minute, hold, hold it, hold it. No, no, no. Slow down. And a little to the left.' You know, we don't, we don't wanna do that," she said on Andy Cohen Live recently, laughing.

The 9 to 5 actress added, "But when we get older, it's like, 'No, I know what I want. Give me what I want.'"

Kevin Hart and Dwayne Johnson couldn't resist doing the viral "tortilla challenge" together. On Wednesday (July 20th), both stars posted a video to their respective Instagram accounts, showing them engaged in the standoff.

Hart and Johnson laugh as they slap each other with tortillas and try not to spit out a mouthful of water. "You can tell @KevinHart4Real has been waiting for the day he can finally slap the sh*t out of me with no consequences … This was fun," Johnson captioned the post.

Hart wrote, "If this shit don't make you laugh then something is physically wrong with you … I have been wanting to do this for years….I got to live out my dream and smack the living shit out of @therock …..Oh my god this felt so good!!!!!! Insert evil laugh."

The duo has teamed up again for the animated film DC League of Super-Pets, which will reach theaters on July 29th. Commenting on their special bond, Johnson told Entertainment Tonight recently, "I love Kevin and we always have the best time on-screen and off-screen and audiences enjoy us together too."

Hart added, "It's something that you have to realize how special it is, because it doesn't have to be this way. Typically, you don't have the relationships on screen and off at this magnitude, so I like the fact that we get along."

U2 will be spotlighted at this year's Kennedy Center Honors.

The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts announced Thursday (7-21) that the 22-time Grammy winners, along with actor George Clooney, singers Gladys Knight and Amy Grant and composer Tania León will be honored in December.

It's a rare occasion that a band is among the honorees… Though U2 is in the company with Earth, Wind & Fire, they were the most recent group, that was in 2019. The Eagles were honored in 2016 and Led Zeppelin in 2012.

Kennedy Center President Deborah F. Rutter said she was told that U2 frontman Bono was eating and was so surprised that he dropped his fork when he was told the band had been selected for this lifetime achievement award.

This is the 45th year of the honors, which will include a gala performance Dec. 4 in Washington featuring top entertainers. The show will be broadcast on CBS at a later date.

One of Dukureh's two young children found her unresponsive in a bedroom and rushed to a neighbor's. No foul play is suspected. Dukureh starred as Big Mama Thornton in the Elvis biopic. The news was announced at the Teen Wolf: The Movie panel at the San Diego Comic-Con on Thursday (July 21st), where Gellar made a surprise appearance.

Dave Chappelle's Wednesday (July 20th) night show in Minneapolis was cancelled at the last minute in response to his perceived transphobic remarks.

The First Avenue theater pulled out of the sold-out show, writing on Instagram, "To staff, artists, and our community, we hear you and we are sorry. We know we must hold ourselves to the highest standards and we know we let you down."

Instead, the show took place at Varsity Theater, where he was previously scheduled to perform on July 21st and 22nd.

Eyewitnesses to Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck's Las Vegas wedding say that the ceremony was emotional. According to A Little White Wedding Chapel coordinator Kenosha Booth, "It was beautiful. Some tears were shed by them both."

Booth also relayed that the venue played "Here Comes the Bride" over a Bluetooth speaker as Lopez walked down the aisle. At the altar, the Marry Me actress and the Argo actor exchanged vows and wedding bands.

Following an autopsy by the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner, Jak Knight's cause of death has been confirmed.

The Bust Down actor was found suffering from a gunshot wound on a Los Angeles embankment Thursday (July 14th). A coroner ruled that his cause of death was suicide.

After Knight's family announced news of his death last week, a number of stars took to social media to honor the 28-year-old comedian.

Harry Potter actress Miriam Margolyes is not a fan of Arnold Schwarzenegger. On the most recent episode of the I've Got News For You podcast, Margolyes said that the Terminator actor purposely farted in her face while they worked on End of Days together.

CREW MEMBER ON ‘LAW & ORDER: ORGANIZED CRIME' IS SHOT AND KILLED IN NEW YORK: Variety reports that a crew member for Law & Order: Organized Crime was shot and killed on Tuesday morning (July 19th) while on location to film the show's third season. Johnny Pizarro, a resident of Queens, arrived in Brooklyn in the early hours of the morning. He was sitting in his car at approximately 5:15 a.m. ET, when an unknown person opened the door and opened fire. Pizarro was rushed to a nearby hospital and pronounced dead on arrival. NBC and studio Universal Television released a joint statement that reads, "We were terribly saddened and shocked to hear that one of our crew members was the victim of a crime early this morning and has died as a result. We are working with local law enforcement as they continue to investigate. Our hearts go out to his family and friends and we ask that you respect their privacy during this time."

Emilia Clarke opened up about the harrowing medical experiences she went through while filming Game of Thrones in a recent interview with BBC Sunday Morning. The Me Before You actress suffered from two brain aneurysms, one in 2011 and another in 2013.

"It was the most excruciating pain," she said, adding that it was "incredibly helpful to have Game of Thrones sweep me up and give me that purpose."

Clarke continued, "The amount of my brain that is no longer usable, it's remarkable that I am able to speak and live my life completely normally with absolutely no repercussions." She went on to explain that she's "in the really, really, really small minority of people that can survive that." However, she shared that there is "quite a bit missing" from her brain.

"Strokes, basically, as soon as any part of your brain doesn't get blood for a second, it's gone. So the blood finds a different route to get around, but then whatever bit is missing is therefore gone," Clarke said.

It looks like there will be a part two when it comes to Ben and Jen's big day. Following their Las Vegas wedding over the weekend, a source told People that the couple "plan on having a bigger party so they can celebrate with family and friends."

The source continued, "They don't have a honeymoon planned yet. Jennifer says that every day with Ben is a honeymoon."
