Here’s an update, the man who dognapped Lady Gaga’s dogs and assaulted her dog walker was accidently let out of jail in April and now there’s a reward for his capture.

The Washington Post reports that James Howard Jackson, who was arrested last year was released due to a clerical error and the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department has requested the help of the U.S. Marshals Service to track him down.

They are offering a $5,000 reward for information related to his whereabouts.

When it first happened, her dog walker was admitted to the hospital with a gunshot wound, but survived and her dogs were returned to her two days later.

Lady Gaga has not commented on the reward situation.
