‘Avatar: Fire & Ash’ Dominates Box Office In Third Weekend, Crosses $1 Billion
Avatar: Fire & Ash maintained its box office dominance with $40 million from North American theaters during its third weekend. It has reached $306 million domestically and $1.08 billion worldwide after 18 days in release. The film achieved the billion-dollar milestone slower than Avatar: The Way of Water (14 days) and the original Avatar (17 days). Disney’s Zootopia 2 held second place with $19 million. The animated sequel has earned $363 million domestically and $1.588 billion globally across six weekends, surpassing Frozen 2 to become Disney Animation’s highest-grossing film. The Housemaid, a new thriller starring Sydney Sweeney and Amanda Seyfried, claimed third with $15.2 million.
