Bradley Cooper Feels ‘Very Lucky’ To Be 19 Years Sober
Bradley Cooper opened up to Bear Grylls about his past struggles with addiction on a recent episode of Running Wild with Bear Grylls: The Challenge. The Star is Born actor said he feels “very lucky” to have found sobriety at a relatively young age.
While the pair engaged in conversation during the episode, Cooper shared that he did not feel as though he got “lost in fame” over the course of his career. Grylls responded, “But you definitely had some wild years?”
The Hangover actor replied, “In terms of alcohol and drugs, yeah. But nothing to do with fame, though … But I was lucky. I got sober at 29 years old, and I’ve been sober for 19 years. I’ve been very lucky.”
