Camel Traffic Lights Installed In Desert
Camel riding is so popular in China’s Kumtag Desert in May that traffic lights have popped up to help direct traffic. The camel traffic lights show the outline of a green camel to go and a red camel to stop. In 2023, about 2,400 camels were available for riding, causing traffic jams in the desert. The lights help allow pedestrians to cross. Spring is a busy time in the region. On May 1st, 2023, 10,000 visitors arrived at Mingsha Mountain. (Oddity Central)
