Cedar Point Tilt Coaster Strands Riders Multiple Times In July

Ohio’s Cedar Point amusement park faced another incident with its newest ride, Siren’s Curse, as riders were temporarily stranded for the fourth time in July. The tilt coaster, the first of its kind in the United States, features a unique section track that disconnects, turns 90 degrees, and attaches to a steep decline track. Park officials confirmed that the ride stopped mid-tilt on Tuesday, likening the issue to a “check-engine light.” Despite the repeated interruptions, the coaster’s safety system functioned as designed, allowing guests to continue their ride safely. No injuries were reported in any of the incidents. (Upi)
