Chuck E. Cheese Employee Arrested For Felony Credit Card Theft
A man dressed in a full Chuck E. Cheese costume was arrested by police and led out of a Florida restaurant on felony charges. Jermell Jones, 41, was apprehended inside the Tallahassee eatery as children watched. Police removed his oversized mouse head before placing him in a squad car. According to a probable cause statement, a woman claimed her debit card had been stolen by a Chuck E. Cheese employee and used for purchases at various businesses. The woman identified Jones, a restaurant worker, as the suspect after reviewing surveillance footage. When confronted by police, Jones denied stealing the card but was found in possession of the victim’s Visa and a receipt for a recent fraudulent purchase. He was charged with multiple felony counts related to credit card theft and fraud. Jones has a prior criminal history. (Thesmokinggun)
