Man Allegedly Attends Zoom Court While Driving With Suspended License
A Michigan man was recorded apparently driving with a suspended license as he attended a court hearing over Zoom. Corey Harris logged into Zoom on May 15th while he was behind the wheel. Harris then said to Judge Cedric Simpson that he was pulling into his doctor’s office. “Just give me one second,” Harris can be heard saying. The judge clarified that Harris was driving without a valid license, and ordered him to turn himself in to the Washtenaw County Jail. “I don’t even know why he would do that,” Simpson said. Harris appears to be shocked on the video as he realizes he’s headed to jail. (USA Today)
