Mariah Carey Denied ‘Queen Of Christmas’ Trademark

Mariah Carey has been denied a trademark on “Queen of Christmas.”
According to Stereogum, the United States Patent and Trademark Office has ruled against the “All I Want For Christmas Is You” singer’s request following opposition from Elizabeth Chan.
Chan, who dropped an album called Queen of Christmas last year, was originally dubbed the “Queen of Christmas” by the New Yorker in 2018.
Carey was also denied the terms “Princess Christmas” and “QOC” by the patent office.
