Modest Mouse drummer Jeremiah Green has been diagnosed with stage four cancer. The announcement came from a post his mother, Carol Namatame shared on Facebook.
She asked for people to “please send healing vibes” and said, “He is so strong and so brave and hanging in there.”
Modest Mouse recently celebrated the 25th anniversary of their breakthrough 2nd album, The Lonesome Crowded West. As they were on tour to promote the album Green had to come off the road for chemo treatments.
Formed in 1993, Green is one of the co-founding members, along with frontman Isaac Brock, and bassist Eric Judy.
