Muse To Release New Album This Summer

Muse is dropping bits of information about their next album and if you can judge a song by its title, the track list is politically charged. A couple other song titles on Will of the People are “Liberation,” and “Kill or Be Killed.”

The band said the recordings were influenced by the “increasing uncertainty and instability in the world.”

In a statement about their new single, “Compliance,” they said, “it’s about submission to authoritarian rules and reassuring untruths just to be accepted to an in-group, such as gangs, governments, demagogues, and social media…”

Look for the full album to be released on August 26th.

TL;DR:

  • Muse’ next album looks to be politically charged.
  • The band said it was influenced by the increasing uncertainty and instability in the world.
  • To be released on August 26th.
