Pink Floyd Grateful To Fans For Raising Funds For Ukraine

Pink Floyd leaned on social media to post gratitude to their fans. So far, they’ve helped raise “half a million pounds for charity. In U.S. dollars that’s around $650,000. It’s all from sales of their single, “Hey, Hey, Rise Up” of which they donated all the proceeds to Ukraine Humanitarian Relief. He posted that the funds would “help alleviate the suffering of the Ukrainian people.”

This is the first original music they’ve recorded together as a band since 1994’s The Division Bell. The song was initially released digitally in April and became #1 in 27 countries.
