Spanish Woman Sets Guinness World Record with 15,485 Egg Cups Collection

María José Fuster, a Spanish woman, recently achieved a Guinness World Record for her extensive collection of 15,485 egg cups. Over a span of 50 years, Fuster diligently amassed a variety of egg cups with different patterns, colors, and designs, including novelty cups featuring popular characters like Superman, Betty Boop, and Garfield. To verify her collection, Fuster enlisted two witnesses to count the items at a community center in Campo, Spain. Additionally, she maintains two blogs dedicated to her hobby, with one cataloging each piece and the other listing the names of individuals who have contributed to her collection. A selection of her prized egg cups, totaling about 1,143, is currently showcased at a local museum. (Upi)
