Woman Lives In Supermarket Sign For A Year

A Michigan woman lived in a Family Fare supermarket sign for a year before contractors noticed. The 34-year-old woman had turned the rooftop sign into a cozy cove complete with a floor, computer, and coffee maker. When police were called, it was revealed that the woman had a job, but had no place to live. “People would see her from time to time and then all of a sudden she would vanish,” Officer Brennon Warren said. Police have dubbed her the “Roof Ninja.” No charges were filed against her, and she left when asked. “She apologized and continued on her way.
