The University of Alabama’s Million Dollar Band will stop in town on Friday, Oct. 19, on its way to Knoxville for the UTK/Alabama football game on Saturday.

The marching band will present a live performance of its halftime show in Finley Stadium at 12:30 p.m. in conjunction with an Alabama pep rally.

The Big Gig

THIS ONE’S FOR YOU, GIG CITY! EPB is in the home stretch of adding their 100,000th Fiber Optics customer and can think of no better way to say “Thank You” than with an epic celebration right in the heart of our hometown!

plan a day of music, football, lumberjacks (yes, we said lumberjacks), cooking demonstrations and many surprises. We’ll also have food trucks, beverages, a kid’s zone, and costume contests for children and pets! Join us for music by The Beaters, Masseuse and Rare Coalition on the EPB Community Stage. The Timberwork’s Lumberjack Show will bring competition and comedy to Georgia Avenue. We’re turning Waterhouse Pavilion into a college football tailgating zone complete with a jumbo LED screen! Plus, local chefs will showcase their skills in a unique cooking demonstration on the Miller Pavilion stage.

This event is free and all are welcome (food and drinks may be purchased). PLUS, the EPB garage located on 10th Street will be open with free parking all day!


Princess & Pancakes

Family Promise of Greater Chattanooga will host our second annual Princess & Pancakes event on October 20, 2018 at 2 W Aquarium Way (same building as Puckett’s downtown) from 9-11am. All who attend will be  served a delicious pancake breakfast Sponsored by Puckett’s Gro. & Restaurant, listen to live music, interact with famous Princesses including Moana, Elsa, Tiana, Belle, Cinderella and more! Attendees are encouraged to dress up, take photos in our photo booth, get their faces painted, learn a dance taught by our princesses, have their hair and make-up done by our royal helpers, and more!


The 2018 Ketner’s Mill Country Arts Fair is the 41st annual event at the mill. Ketner’s Mill has more than 150 artisans that share their creativity and talents through products and demonstrations, while there are more than 20 food vendors (texas taters and funnel cakes are just a few of the favorites), plus two days packed full of entertainment for the whole family. Shopping, eating and entertainment? That’s right! There’s even more at Ketner’s for everyone in the family.


Cleveland Apple Festival

Come experience the Cleveland Apple Festival in Historic Downtown Cleveland, Tennessee. We have so much to do and experience for kids, adults and families. Over 100 vendors including artists, crafters, musicians, dancers, Apple Blossom pageant, food and local businesses. We have a KidsZone with bounce houses, pony rides, and petting zoo. Trailhead bike giveaway and Apple Dessert contest!  Tickets available at the gate. Plenty of parking around downtown Cleveland. Hope to see you there!

Paws In The Park

Be a part of Chattanooga’s largest annual community dog walk! Join the Humane Educational Society in downtown Chattanooga at Ross’s Landing Park Saturday, October 20th for the 16th annual Paws in the Park! You don’t want to miss the dog and human costume contest after the walk! Prizes will be handed out for best dog and kid costume, best dog costume, and best adult and dog costume. The costume contest is free to participate. Guests can also enjoy animal demos, vendors, food trucks, adoptable pets, and more!

Don’t have a furry friend of your own but still want to participate in the walk? You can rent a shelter pet for the day and you’ll both love getting out and spending the afternoon together. Registration begins at 10 am and the dog walk starts at 11 am.


Boo in the Zoo

Our annual Boo in the Zoo is a family friendly celebration filled with some of your most loveable cartoon characters, trick-or-treat stations, costume contests, pony rides, games, inflatables, and much more! This non-scary Halloween event is sure to have the whole family talking for years to come. 5:30pm


7 Bridges Marathon

The 7 Bridges Marathon will take runners across the Tennessee river 6 times as you traverse the city. You will run by the Tennessee Aquarium, AT&T field, Creative Discovery Museum, Cross the Dam and enjoy a stroll along the River walk, then run through the Art district, Hunter Museum and Historic Walnut street bridge to finish in front of the Chattanooga Theatre in Coolidge Park.
