The American Red Cross needs volunteers, because they never know when the next natural disaster may strike. Visit RedCross.org/VolunteerTN, and apply to help your neighbors, with the Tennessee American Red Cross.

If you need to properly dispose of an American Flag, the V.F.W. Post 4848 on Amnicola, has a drop-box at their front door. That organization will respectfully dispose of your flags for you, at no charge.

Each household in America can now receive another box of At-Home Covid Tests, at no charge. Order them online at Covid.gov/tests, and they will be delivered by your mail carrier within two weeks. Each box will contain 4 free At-Home Covid Tests.

The “Wings Over North Georgia” Air Show in Rome, Georgia, has been postponed until October of next year. The organizers say ongoing construction, as well as another airshow featuring some of the same attractions, will prevent the Air Show from taking place this year.

The Boy Scouts are raising money by selling Moon Pies, outside of some Food City, Ace Hardware, and Tractor Supply Stores.

The next “Movies In A Park” is this Saturday Sept. 30th, in Miller Park, downtown Chattanooga. The fun starts at 6pm Saturday with games and more, then “The Little Mermaid” will be shown when the sun goes down. It’s all FREE family fun, Saturday, so bring your blanket and lawn chair.
