You Should Never Put Delivered Packages on Your Dining Table?

Your online shopping habit might have more downsides than just draining your bank account.

Experts are warning people to stop putting delivery packages on kitchen tables. It has nothing to do with clutter . . . it’s because of something worse: bugs.

Cardboard is basically a hotel for insects. It traps moisture, has tiny hiding spots, and can pick up hitchhikers during shipping. We’re talking ants, beetles, moths, even cockroaches.

And here’s the gross part: Those bugs don’t always stay IN the box. Once they get brought inside your home, they can wander off and settle in.

So what should you do? Open packages somewhere you clean regularly . . . break down the boxes quickly . . . and keep them away from where you eat.
