Thursday November 11th is Veterans Day. Mission Bar-B-Q on Gunbarrel Road will give each veteran and active duty member a free sandwich. And Blue Star Mothers, a non-profit that brings together Moms who have a military member in their family, will be at Mission Bar-B-Q from 11 until 2 on Veterans Day, as well.
“Miss Calloway”, a vocal music teacher at Chattanooga’s “Center For The Creative Arts” School, will be honored on Wednesday the 10th, at the Country Music Awards. “Miss Calloway” has been teaching for 24 years, and she’ll get to walk the red carpet, at a ceremony right before the Awards show starts.
