Saturday Nov. 22nd – The East Ridge Parade will start at 6:30pm on the 22nd, on Ringgold Road at Germantown, and will travel up to Tombras Avenue, in front of the Fire Department.
Nov. 26th through Jan. 1st – Enjoy the “Festive Forest” in Miller Park, where local companies and non-profits decorate and display their own tree. It’s sponsored by The Better Business Bureau, and free to enjoy.
Nov. 27th through Dec. 25th – Christmas Lights in East Ridge will be all lit up, from 5:30pm until 10pm every night of the week. From Ringgold Road, turn onto Belvoir, then turn onto Fountain Avenue. Enjoy the lights for free, but a canned good or a small donation for the Forgotten Child Fund would be appreciated. Fountain Avenue in East Ridge.
Friday Nov. 28th – Santa arrives at the Dalton Mall at 11am, and there’s a parade in the Mall right before Santa arrives, on the 28th.
Friday Nov. 28th, the night after Thanksgiving – “Reindeer On The Riverfront And The Lighted Boat Parade”, it’s all at Ross’ Landing from 4 til 8pm.. There will be live reindeer; Santa will be there for free pictures; face painting; and fireworks at dark. Hot cocoa too. Friday Nov. 28th, downtown.
Saturday Nov. 29th – Christmas in Fort Oglethorpe. The event starts at 6pm with the Fort Oglethorpe Parade along Lafayette Road, and their Christmas Market is until 9 that night. You can help light the tree, enjoy shopping, and visit with Santa Claus as well. November 29th in Fort O.
Thursday Dec. 4th – The Dalton Christmas Parade will travel to Dalton High School, starting at 6:30pm.
Friday Dec. 5th – Join the “Friends of Apison and East Brainerd” at Heritage Park, as they kick off the holiday season starting at 4:30pm. There will be food, drinks, and Christmas carols! They will finish the evening by lighting the Heritage Park Christmas tree! Friday the 5th.
Friday Dec. 5th – The Lafayette Christmas Parade is Dec. 5th, starting at 6pm along South Main Street. With over 90 floats and groups, Santa will be riding on the fire truck, and the parade will end at the Gazebo, with Santa taking free pictures with the kids. Friday Dec. 5th in Lafayette
