Upcoming Parades

-Daily through Jan. 1st – Enjoy the “Festive Forest” in Miller Park, where local companies and non-profits decorate and display their own tree. It’s sponsored by The Better Business Bureau, and free to enjoy.
Nightly through Dec. 25th – Christmas Lights in East Ridge are all lit up, from 5:30pm until 10pm every night of the week. From Ringgold Road, turn onto Belvoir, then turn onto Fountain Avenue. Enjoy the lights for free, but a canned good or a small donation for the Forgotten Child Fund would be appreciated. Fountain Avenue in East Ridge.
-Thursday Dec. 4th – The Dalton Christmas Parade will travel around Dalton High School, starting at 6:30pm.
– Friday Dec. 5th – The Lafayette Christmas Parade is Dec. 5th, starting at 6pm along South Main Street. With over 90 floats and groups, Santa will be riding on the fire truck, and the parade will end at the Gazebo, with Santa taking free pictures with the kids. Friday Dec. 5th in Lafayette
– Friday Dec. 5th – The Ringgold Down Home Christmas Celebration – the fun starts at 5:30pm on the square, in downtown Ringgold, with the lighting of the tree, singing Christmas carols, Santa pictures and much more. The parade will leave Ringgold High School at 6 and make a circle around downtown and then back to Ringgold High School. THIS Friday.
– Saturday Dec. 6th – MainX24 is a full day of shopping, holiday specials, and more, in the shops and restaurants along Main Street here in Chattanooga. The parade along Main Street is set for 10:30am that morning. Lots of family-friendly things to enjoy; plus the Adult Big Wheel Races, and a Chili Cook-Off too.
– Saturday Dec. 6th – it’s “Christmas At The Choo Choo”, from 10am til 6pm at the Chattanooga Choo-Choo. It will feature dozens of vendors, holiday music, live entertainment, and lots of Christmas lights. That’s Christmas At The Choo Choo, all day on Saturday Dec. 6th.
– Saturday Dec. 6th – the South Pittsburg Christmas Parade starts at 10am central time, along Cedar Avenue. The theme will be “America’s 250 Birthday!”
– Saturday Dec. 6th – The Dayton Christmas Parade is this Saturday the 6th at 1:00, on Alabama Avenue to 4th Avenue. Then Community Caroling and pictures with Santa at 2:00 at the Courthouse. .
– Saturday Dec. 6th – the Cleveland Christmas Parade starts at 6pm at Bradley Central High School, and will travel 3 miles through downtown Cleveland.
– Sunday Dec. 7th – The Soddy Daisy Christmas Parade will start at 2:00, on Dayton Pike, from Harrison Lane to Sequoyah Road. It will feature marching bands, floats, dancers, and more. Sunday Dec. 7th, at 2:00 in Soddy Daisy.
